I am an owner of Main Street Village, a affordable housing complex in Black Diamond, Alberta. Cornerstone Homes was contracted to build our facility in 2011 and overall it was an extremely bad experience. Our firm was not told the truth on numerous occasions with fake claims of cost overruns. In the end they did not honor the terms of their contract. They owe us almost $70,000 in legal fees for settling a lien put on our property because of a sub-contractor of theirs. They refuse to pay these fees and resort to legal games in order to sidestep them. I would never recommend using them as contractors.
