With 30 people expected for our grandchild's first birthday party Paul replaced a 'runaway' timer in the bathroom which I had tried to replace (unsuccessfully which shut off power to the bathroom). Paul has a great personality and success fully replaced the timer and sorted out the mess of wiring in the outlet box. Made a commitment for further work to be done. Would definitely use Mr. Electric again. In addition, Paul re wired a halogen pot light in the kitchen that had melted the connector.

After researching home renovators. We found AJD construction at an October Better Living home show and was impressed with their RenoMark and BILD credentials. They came in and completely redid our old 60's panelled family room. They insulated the whole room, took down old panelling and created a new coffered ceiling. The old fireplace stone was trimmed back, then new stone added floor to ceiling. They added two bookshelves one on either side. As well AJD built a 2 door divided cupboard. They put in a hardwood floor of hand scraped stressed maple. They also added wainscoting. They painted the walls, wainscoting and ceiling. They updated all the electrical wiring, installing Led pot lights and dimmer switches. AJD was just great, they were given a short amount of time to complete the job (started mid-November and finished Dec 16th 2014) and worked continuously (even on the occasional weekend!) to complete it. Their work was very well done. We even had them install a TV and mount on our wall. The furnished room looks fantastic and ready for the holiday. I’ve already recommended AJD to the neighbours and one hired them. I would absolutely hire AJD again. Note that the price includes tax.

Regular spring AC service. Shane D. arrived on time and went through AC checks and adjustments both inside and outside units. Was knowledgeable about equipment and what possible problems can occur. Filter was still clean so didn't replace it. Took his time and answered my questions politely. Wore "booties" when inside to protect carpets, etc. Cost covered under AtlasCare service plan. Long time AtlasCare customer and purchased our HVAC equipment from them.

My wife and I are seniors and we had the Garden Girls do work for us for the first time this past spring, summer and fall. Over 4 visits they did a winter cleanup , planted our flowers, weeded the gardens. They were a cheery, hard working, knowledgeable group of 4 or 5 women and easy to work with. The Garden Girls are our "go to" group and we recommend them highly. We also had the Garden Girls design and install a river rock border along the side of our house. Without their hard work it is questionable whether we could keep our property looking as good as we would like. We are happy to have found them.
