Blinds to Go has a lovely showroom on St. Laurent. The staff was very helpful, friendly and patient when helping us decide on a style. The first time I visited I wasn't confident with the measurements we took so she explained the right way to measure and (for a deposit) gave us the samples to bring home. We wanted the top-down, bottom-up shades and were able to find a style/fabric we liked. We installed them ourselves with ease. Simple brackets (2 screws each) screwed into the frame for an inside mount. We're having happy with the quality, style and look of our blinds. They are very smooth to operate as well. I would definitely recommend Blinds to Go for their great customer service and quality products.

We first acquired Francis' services in July 2016 when we noticed our AC was leaking water in the basement. They were able to come the next day to determine the problem and fix the issue. They explained the problem and how we could avoid it happening again. At this time, we signed up for a year service plan for $237 for our Fall furnace tune-up and Spring AC tune-up. Additionally, we contacted Francis when our gas water heater's pilot light wouldn't light for us. The technician was able to come the next day and fix the problem as well as do adjustments on it ($200). It has been working perfectly ever since. All in all we've had Francis visit our home 4 times so far and each time has been a pleasant experience. They will also replace your furnace filter for $50 (but it's probably is cheaper to buy yourself from the store). They have professional and knowledgeable technicians. We continue to renew our for our annual tune-ups. I would recommend this company for all your HVAC services. The reason for the 9 is a minor mix-up with scheduling.

Shopping for our Samsung refrigerator, we had visited 3 other stores but based on Home Star's reviews of CAS I wanted to visit the store to see. Our salesman Alex was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Alex was able to price match a less expensive quote I had got from Sears on the model I was interested in. We had narrowed our decision down between two Samsung fridges but unfortunately they did not have them on the floor to view. Alex showed us a similar model, kind of the in-between the two models in that it didn't have the in-door water dispenser. Alex was very patient, gave us time to talk in private to make our decision. We felt that he really listened to our needs to helped us realize we based on our preferences we would probably be happiest with the in-between model. I was truly impressed that he didn't try and talk us into getting the most expensive one among our selections. CAS was also able to provide the soonest delivery date than the other retailers I had looked at. The delivery was on time, efficient and they removed my previous fridge (for a fee). I liked that they email you a website that shows you gps where your truck is throughout the day to give you an estimate of when they'll arrive. Overall, it was a great experience and I'm glad I decided to make my purchase with CAS.

Chris, the Ottawa Area manager, was very knowledgeable about the products and was able to bring in a model to visually explain the differences between other products. He informed us of details that another estimator failed to point out such as having to repaint/touch up around the trim, replacing the flashings, and considerations to different lock types. He took the time to go over different options and the associated prices/offers. We highly appreciated his personal approach. My windows were ordered in June 2016 and were installed August 9th, 2016. The installers are obviously subcontractors and not employees directly of Clera. They showed up on time, they were professional and did a great job cleaning up. Having had them for a full year now I can say I'm very happy with my windows. No more condensation in the winter! I love my sliding door it's slides so smooth. I would recommend Clera Windows.

I had a very pleasant experience with Mike of Dunrite Roofing. He was great at communication throughout the project having always responded very quickly both by phone or email. He personally delivered a very comprehensive estimate with several options/packages available to us and clearly explained the differences between them with his overall recommendation. He left us with a folder of printed material to peruse which helped us to make a more informed decision and clearly detailed what we would be getting. I truly appreciated this personal approach over another company whom I called that just came and left a quote in the mailbox rather than ringing the doorbell when someone was home. Fortunately, there was an opening and we were able to be fitted in that same week (non-complex roof, 1-day job). We also very much appreciated having been given before and after photos of the job, as its very difficult to actually see my roof from the ground. The clean-up could have been a bit more comprehensive as my neighbours and I found some left-behind nails on our property. However, overall, we had a great experience dealing with the Dunrite team and I would definitely recommend their services. Thanks again, Mike!

I was very happy I chose Hendley Building Consultants when I purchased my resale home. Justin was very thorough and knowledgeable, and we learned a lot about the house. He answered all my questions and gave great recommendations on how to correct issues. Justin was also available after the date of the inspection to answer my questions and for a follow-up. He was very professional and was on time for the appointment. The report was delivered within a very reasonable time-frame and included pictures from the inspection and diagrams explaining how to execute the recommendations. Overall, I would highly recommend their services! :)
