We have a side split house that needed both attics updated with more insulation. We picked insta insulation based on the reviews here. The guys that came were pleasant and efficient, taking less time than I was told it would take. However it could have been a better experience. The house was getting a full of insulation dust everywhere. I pointed this out and was told don’t worry as they still had to vacuum and clean up. They should have taped off the small hallway to prevent the spread of dust. Cleanup was pathetic with only a quick vacuum of limited area. Dust and insulation on floors chairs etc left as is. They also did not bother to slide the screen back in the window they used to bring the hose in. They left the back gate propped open instead of closing it. This company demands 40% payment up front. When the guys asked us to pay, it was for the full amount. Happens all the time they said and not their problem. Had to phone the office myself to get it cleared up. Excuse from billing staff was their system couldn’t handle the deposit??? Very unprofessional in my opinion. Because of these complaints, the do not deserve a better review.

Got some quotes for the work we wanted done and all were close in price. Roger who did the estimate was personable, knowledgeable and showed interest in what I wanted. One company who showed up was very quick, barely talked at all and seemed totally disinterested. Fred and Rod who did the work a couple months later were good guys who did a nice Job. Hopefully if any follow up work is ever needed, they will be as good. For siding work I would recommend them for sure.

We had an ash tree in the backyard that needed to be removed. We were very happy with aspects of dealing with Roots to Shoots, from talking to Christian about the price and options etc., to Clint and Laura who took the tree down. They were prompt, courteous and professional. They made sure everything was cleaned up afterwards and were very reasonable with their price. We would recommend them anytime.

Since we liked our 25yr old wingback chair so much we decided to get it reupholstered,instead of buying new. After talking to Keith and seeing his work at his shop, we knew he was the man we wanted. He did a fantastic job at a very reasonable price. Not to mention he is simply a very nice guy and a pleasure to deal with. You can't go wrong here. Highly recommended.

Wanted my main house drains inspected as it hasn't been done in 15 years and it is an old house. Called drainworks based on reviews here. They were very good on the phone getting my appointment set up very quickly. Frank came the next day. He was very good and took the time to explain lots of things that I didn't know about the system and how it was working using a camera. Would highly recommend drainworks.

Old rental tank finally stopped working. The contractor and his helper from Direct Energy who were both very nice, did a great job, replacing the tank quickly quietly and efficiently.. no mess. I just think that at least once Direct Energy could have checked in with us before it failed as the tank was 24yrs old.
