Jason has done a number of jobs for us over the years, and we're always very pleased with his work. The first job he did was by far the most extensive: all the electrical work in our home renovation. This included removal of knob and tube wiring; complete rewiring of all outlets, lights, and electrical equipment in all rooms; and the installation of new electrical wiring in our home addition. He was prompt and very easy to deal with, working with and around our other tradespeople. Though very busy, he was flexible with his schedule and fit the various stages of his work (over 6+ months) seamlessly into the broader building timetable. His designs were well-planned - in terms of the number and placement of outlets, lights, switches, dimmers, 3-way switches, etc. - and his advice and recommendations appreciated. The work itself was impeccable: neat and clean, tight wiring, minimal damage to walls and other surfaces, and when needed he patched holes to leave a seamless work environment. His crew was well managed, professional, and a pleasure to deal with as well. From a financial perspective, Jason wasn’t the least expensive option but his prices were reasonable. Far more important to me, he never deviated from the quotes he provided. At the outset of the job he prepared a detailed quote (fixture by fixture, outlet by outlet), with transparent costs and timetables. This quote had to be revised time and again as we changed our minds and expanded the scope of the project (none of the changes were initiated by him). Jason kept track of all the changes, revising the quote and confirming pricing prior to starting any of the changes, thereby ensuring no surprises on our end. He was one of the few contractors we've ever worked with that took this level of care and had this degree of financial management skill. We have since done a number of smaller jobs with him and would not consider working with another electrician. We continue to work with him to this day.
