While we knew that our front porch and walk needed to be repaired, we had been delaying our decision to avoid having to spend a lot of money. However, after reviewing York Mills Construction’s flyer and speaking with Murray, who provided us with a fair quote and expert advice, we were confident in making the decision to proceed. The workmanship was excellent — built to last, and the project was done on time and on budget. We would recommend York Mills Construction to family and friends.

We recently had Alex build a fence for us. He gave us a reasonable quote and was able to schedule the work when we needed. He showed us a number of photos so we could choose a style, and then built a nice-looking, sturdy fence in less than a day. We would definitely call Alex again for another project!

We called TipTop for a quote and they came promptly and were able to schedule the work for a few days later, at what we considered a reasonable cost. They completed the work on time, were professional, and made some good suggestions for downspout location that we hadn't considered. The eaves troughs look great and our property was cleaned up well afterwards. Overall we are very pleased.

Steven recently designed and installed a wall of built-ins in our dining room. We are absolutely thrilled with the work. The cabinetry was exactly what we wanted – the craftsmanship is great, the cost was reasonable, the installation was quick and tidy, and he and his colleague even installed them ahead of schedule. Steven said halfway through the installation (when I mentioned how great they looked) that when he was finished, we'd be even more pleased, and he was right. I had high expectations and he exceeded them. I would recommend Black Forest or hire them again in a second. Thank you!

I found LUX on the Toronto Life website and had them come to my home to do a spring cleaning to catch up on a lot of areas I just don't have time to keep up with. They cleaned my kitchen cupboards (inside and outside) and oven and fridge so well they looked like new! Everything else they cleaned was perfect. I was expecting them just to clean visible surfaces, but they even organized inside my bathroom cabinets and shower caddy, washed toothbrush holders, bathroom scale, emptied garbage cans, etc. I would hire them again in a heartbeat. They are a bit more expensive than some of the other cleaning services I've used in the past, but it was well worth it as I was always disappointed with other services.
