Dave and his crew installed my new high efficiency furnace and A/C just over a year ago, and did an outstanding job. They were true to their word, on time, on budget and very attentive in their follow-up process. Yesterday, I called to ask about getting my annual inspection done, along with a new furnace filter. They referred me to their cleaning contractor, Robert. Within two hours of calling Robert, he was at my door with the filter in hand, ready to work. He was courteous, friendly and extremely efficient. The inspection was free, I only had to pay for the filter. It's obvious that everyone connected to Reliable Home Comfort is the top of their class, thank you for all you do!

A representative of Thermo Building Products came to my parents' home one day last October and talked them into signing a contract to have some safety railings installed inside and outside the home. The contract was for a total of $5,000 and the rep took a cheque from my parents for a down payment of $1,100. This sales call was absolutely unsolicited, and my parents are both in their eighties and suffering from dementia. Two or three days later, my father had a change of heart and called the company to cancel the job and request a reimbursement of their down payment. After many phone calls over the past three months, I've be given nothing but excuses and broken promises. My parents live on a fixed income and still have not had their $1,100 returned to them. When I called the Toronto Police Fraud Squad to report this matter, the detective who took my call told me his computer records indicate that at least one similar complaint has been filed against this company in the past. Stay away from Thermo Building Products!
