I hadnt heard of Nordik and our contractor was pushing g for me to use them. I decided to do some research and saw all of the positive reviews. I started to see some of their trucks and that was all I needed to get them in for a quote. The quote was competitive and so I pulled the trigger on the purchase. Communication was consistent from them and I was very impressed by the installation. Its been a few months now and we are very satisfied with the whole experience! I recommend Nordik

Steve has never let me down. In the middle of a heatwave, our AC broke down and I wasted time calling other places that wanted to charge me hundreds just to come by and even then, they couldn't come for days. I called Steve and he was able to squeeze me in on the same day. Within an hour or so, the AC was fixed and Steve was on his way - no unnecessary attempts at up-selling things i didn't need - like other companies do. Next time I will call him first!

Fridge not cooling. Called them up and was told it was $80 tp come out and that cost would be applied the repair if we went ahead. Repair guy shows up 45 minutes late without a call or apology. He comes in, looks at the appliance and tells me it’s a faulty circuit board. He has me sign a form that indicates $270 for labour and let’s me know it could be more for parts. he proceeds to takeoff a couple of panels from the fridge and then says it is the compressor and it will cost $1600 for the part and labour. Lol. I refuse but he still charges me $270 _ for not doing anything but diagnosing the issue in 20 minutes or less WHAT A RIP. Upon reading reviews on other sites. It seems like ism not the only one they did this to

I have been a long time Alarm Force Customer. Numerous competitors have contacted me to switch. I was about to cancel with Alarm Force for a cheaper competitor. When I spoke to Alarm Force they reminded me of their advantages and made an offer to me for my loyalty. I decided to stay and am happy I did!

After getting many quotes and even using The HomeService Club, we chose to go with Stone Mountain due to the fact that the sales person was great and very helpful. Well, after he left and we paid a deposit, everything went downhill. They claimed they were very busy and would get a crew out in about 3-4 weeks (this was in June) By August nothing had happened and many calls into the company were not returned. Finally a guy called back and said that they were short staffed and could not get the job done until the end of August!!! We have repeatedly asked for our deposit back and are going to the Better Business Bureau to complain and potentially taking legal action....

I first hired this company in June - I was very suspiscious of them as they are very hard to get a hold of. I purchased a package of eight weekly cleanings. A different crew of maids would show up every week and did an adequate job of cleaning my house. After the package was close to being over, I emailed and called them to find out when my last cleaning day was and received no response. Then, my next credit card bill came in and they have automatically charged me for another eight! Without my authorization or talking to me! Of course I cannot get a hold of anyone and their policy says no refunds! Well, we shall see about this! I highly recommend you look elsewhere as there are lots of maid services out there......

this company was recommended to me by the contractor that came and stopped the leak on the inside of our new home. Now we just needed the exterior looked at and fixed. The guy came by once and took a look at the roof from the road and said to call him back in the spring when everything had thawed. I called him back in the spring and emailed numerous times. Finally got an 11th hour response from him saying he could come that day. I told him I would be out for a couple of hours in the afternoon and gave him the times. I get home and a card is stuck in the door. I call and email saying sorry I missed you but not a single response - I was silly enough to refer a neigbour to him as well and he had the exact same experience and has since gone elsewhere. I highly recommend you do the same - LOOK ELSEWHERE IF YOU NEED ANY KIND OF ROOFING WORK DONE

GH Johnson has been on our radar for awhile now as we continue to shop for items for our home. Their location is relatively poor for us as we dont live in the Annex but we still made the trek as we found a four poster canopy bed on their online store. First, we emailed them to check on the price & availability of the bed and eventually received a response that gave us the pricing and announced that the bed was not only in the showroom, but in stock for "Quick-Ship" YEE HAW. We rushed down to the store the next day and looked at the bed. If you have never been to the store, it is essentially a converted warehouse that looks like a bomb went off. When we were there during the week, there were lots of people scurrying about but no one interested in helping us. I have actually been to the store before and had the exact same experience - everyone walking around, on the phone, moving stuff, just generally busy and not interested in making a sale. Finally a random person approached us and identified herself as working at the store (nobody there wears anything that tells you they work there so you have to guess). Despite the salesperson not knowing much about the bed and having to go online to verify some features about the bed that we explained to her - we bought the bed. Negotitating price is similar to when you buy a car - they take your offer to "The Manager" and then the sales person comes back with a counter offer - fine, we did all that. There is a sign on the wall advising of the next delivery date which we chose and the sales rep said - "Oh choose after 5 PM delivery so you dont have to wait around all day" We did this and left satisfied. One thing to note, most furniture store sells similar stuff nowadays - whether it is The Brick, Leons, DeBoers, Idomo, or those fly-by-night places on Kennedy Rd. - essentially everything is made from "Veneer solids" or "laminates" etc. and come from China. There is solid wood furniture available and stores that sell them, but just because you are going to a 'higher end store' don't automatically assume the quality is better - one store that does sell solid wood is Amish Furniture Outlets. Well delivery day arrives and I leave work early to make sure I am there before 5 PM to take apart the old bed and make room for the new one. I dont do anything more than 10 feet from the door or make any noise so as not to miss the delivery. By 9 PM I think that we must be the last delivery on the route. At 9:40 PM I call the store to see whats going on. Strangely, a security guard answeres the phone and doesnt know anything except "all the delivery trucks are back in for the night" GREAT! NO BED TO SLEEP ON WITH A WIFE WHO IS OVER 8 MONTHS PREGNANT! NO CALL OR ANYTHING FROM THE STORE - LOVELY. I am expecting to call tomorrow (of course I will have to call them) and get a "our delivery truck came by and you weren't home" excuse (which is absolutely not true) or something else lame - point is, you never called me to tell me anything and I have wasted the whole night sitting around waiting. As it stands now, I am telling people to stay away from GH JOHNSON and shop elsewhere. I noticed other negative reviews and a response to one of them from Pat Johnson with his cell phone number - great, but I am not going to call the guy and 10:30 PM at night when he cannot do anything for me right now and why do I need to escalate a very simple delivery to one of the owners???

They look great on the outside - 'luxury homes/condos' with only the best materials & finish. DON'T BE FOOLED!!! This builder is nothing short of a scam artist with no sense of how to design and build in Canada. You will have problems from day 1 with them! Over time you will see how poor the workmanship is behind the 'luxury finish' They are appaling to say the least and I cannot emphasize enough that you should stay away - stay very far away
