I purchased a living room outfit from Furniture Depot. They delivered it in the back of a pickup truck and the drivers ripped it and stained it while placing it in my home. The loveseat was lumpy (the foam sticks out in the side). To make a long story short- after much arguing with West (the manager) and the delivery drivers who told me to "kiss their a**" despite the fact that we are professionals and do not use that type of language- they agreed to replace the couch that night. They refused to replace the love seat. They brought back a couch and placed it on our porch and refused to take it in the house. I called West and explained that they would need to bring it in the home since we paid $59 for delivery and that is part of delivery- he refused to make the drivers do so. I asked what he was going to do about the loveseat and the lumps in it and he proceeded to tell me it is delivered and so now it is mine no matter what condition it is in. We did not sign the slip stating we received it and we asked for them to take it back and return our money. Under Ohio revised code any consumer can return merchandise and ask for a refund within 3 days of purchase. West told me the same thing the delivery driver did which was to . "Kiss his a**." I am in the process of suing the furniture company as well as the delivery drivers. All would be well to avoid this company at all costs unless you want an expensive headache.
