We had a very good experience with Pro Concrete, and the results are fantastic. We had seen a number of jobs done by them, both in our old neighborhood and our new one. We were very impressed with their work. There was a delay of a couple months from when we signed back the quote to when the work started, but it was well worth it. These guys must be in great demand. We had them do our front walkway and steps, side walkways on both sides of the house, the borders of the driveway, and a 24'x16' patio in the back yard. Within four days, they had prepared the area, cleared out our old deck, built the forms, poured the steps, poured everything else, exposed the aggregate, and did the patterned border. Then a week later, they came back to seal it. The only hiccup was that the sealer exposed the fact that our neighbor's cat had put 40 paw prints in the patterned border! The Pro Concrete guys were great. They came out and redid the border, and sealed it all again. It was an excellent experience, overall. Even their presentation materials are better than others we have seen. They actually include a listing, broken down by city, of all their previous clients, and the year of installation. That way, you can see how it ages. We get compliments on it from every person that visits us. I have even seen a few neighbors out with their own contractors, saying "I want that".

Going with Greenpark will easily be the biggest mistake of our lives. We sincerely regret not getting another Monarch house. We bought a new house so we wouldn't have to put up with the shoddy workmanship of a previous owner, who thinks they're a professional. Sadly, that's the kind of workmanship we got. => A couple highlights to show you what kind of a disaster you are getting into. For the full list, click my name and pull up my website. It's at 35 issues and counting... => Complained of an apparent water leak coming in from the attic. Took them 10 days to respond. They don't have any kind of phone coverage for evenings, weekends or holidays. The only way I could get an acknowledgement out of them was to post it on their Facebook wall. Bad press will get a response within the hour! When the guy finally came over to check it out, he dismissed it without even going up to the attic for a look. => The grout in part of the floor in the master ensuite was not actually grout, but plaster. Any contact with water would cause it to dissolve instantly. They sent out a guy to fix it, but the new grout was not done right, and rubs off onto your hand if you touch it. We complained and they sent out another guy, who looked at it and thought that we were the ones who did the awful grout job. Unfortunately I wasn't at home when this guy was there, so I don't know what exactly he did, but there's no difference. As well, they both put bright white grout down, while the grout on the rest of the floor is beige. => The drywalling is TERRIBLE. We easily have a hundred nail pops. All the baseboards, countertops and staircases have moved away from the walls by a few millimeters. Sagging ceilings. And I challenge you to find two walls that meet at a 90 degree angle. => They put the hose tap in the garage right where the driver's side door on my car swings. So I was unable to park my car in my own garage. Their response was that it was by design. However, when you look at the walls in the garage, they put a blue spraypaint dot on the back wall where the tap was supposed to be. Again, the only way I could get them to fix this was to post their stupidity on their Facebook wall, for all the world to see. => We bought our place from someone who was flipping the house before it was actually finalized by Greenpark. Since it was flipped at this point, we didn't get to choose any options, but we still get the Tarion coverage. Sadly, the majority of the countless issues I have are not covered under warranty.

Just after acquiring our previous home from the builder, we had an issue with birds in the attic. Called Humane Wildlife Control. They did a good job. The area where the birds were was three stories up, and luckily they had brought a ladder that would reach. The birds had pecked out a gap that the builder had left in the roof. The guys closed it up with some heavy mesh, after removing a half a garbage bag of nest material, and 3 dead birds. Never had any problems after that point. I forwarded the bill to the builder, as it was their error that led to the problem, and they paid it!

What could this company do to improve their services?
Pricing could have been a little lower, as the guys were gone in an hour. But they had the 30' ladder, which was key.

These guys are great. Hired them to do our current and previous houses, as well as the mother-in-law's place. Our current place has about 24 windows and doors. They did them all in one day! Our old place even had an enormous window over a stair well, and they were able to take care of it. I gather they must be pretty popular, as there usually is a lead time, but the quality and price are well worth it. They were even able to make functional shutters that fit in our curved-top windows.

I don't think this site allows enough space to provide a full review of my negative experience with them. To read the full story, with pictures, google "Baranoski Corbeil". Everything was late -- sometimes days, sometimes weeks. Most of it was damaged (sides of the dishwasher crushed in, the delivery drivers scratched the fridge door, the support that holds the shelves in the fridge was ripped out, a panel was popped out of the door of the second fridge). My washer and dryer even went missing, and they finally had to get a substitution after a week. The first fridge even sat in my garage for a week because they didn't bring the tools needed to take the door off of it, to get it through my front door. Took time off work so could I wait from 8am-8pm for the delivery drivers, who ended up being a no-show.
