First of all, we had met Nick years before about a siding job that he actually talked us out of - we were very impressed with his honesty and decided to get a quote from him for cobblestone work. His price was not the lowest ... but we've made the mistake of going that route once before and won't make it again. Nick selects only very competent subcontractors and checks out their work and stands behind them. He was quick to resolve any concerns we had, and resolved them to our complete satisfaction. Unlike those "cheap" guys we used once and are, unfortunately, reminded of every time we look at their amateur work, we have never regretted the little bit extra that we paid for Nick's services. By the way, this is no honeymoon review - I am writing this review five years after the work was done and I am still impressed. We have used him again since then - about 3 or 4 years ago ... also a fantastic job. Bottom line, the work is solid and impressive, his price is fair and his integrity is exceptional. No wonder he gets a 10.
