Had A&A in just before Christmas to do a bunch of repair work for our 100+ year old brick home. Work included removing old large from the stone foundation, tuck pointing, replacing some damaged bricks, rebuilding the bottom section of the brick columns holding up our porch, cleaning stains and just a general tidy up. Eduardo and the crew worked quickly and efficiently and pushed to get it all done in a day. Was happy with the quality and communication with the guys and with Nigel for quoting and scheduling. All went smoothly. So it was a positive experience and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Just used them for the 3rd time, I'm a happy repeat customer. I'm always satisfied with their reliability, communication, quality of work and pricing. Would recommend them without hesitation.

This is my 2nd time using Action Home Services. They landscaped our front yard last year and we got them back this year to do the backyard. I found their pricing to be fair and the quality and management of the work to be excellent. Would certainly use them again or recommend them to anyone looking for a good landscaper.

We hired Robert to provide drawings for a building permit submission to rebuild a large two storey deck on the front of our house. He was very easy to deal with and quick to respond to calls and emails. He came to our house and took measurements to create as-built drawings and then prepared a set that incorporated some changes we wanted to make during the rebuild for the permit submission. During the permit process Robert was very helpful when we had to deal with the City, including some revisions that were required to satisfy the examiners. All in all we were very satisfied with the experience and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to others.

We used Yury for the retrofit style replacement of 11 windows in our 100+ year old home in Cabbagetown. His price was good and Yury was always easy to get a hold of. The windows themselves were installed 1 week ahead of the originally quoted time and have made a huge improvement to the comfort inside our home. One issue did come up during the process, as we had ordered our street facing windows to be black on the outside. When they arrived, the main frame was black, but the exterior facing sash, which while set back a bit from the front of the window was still visible, was white, contrary to our expectations. I don't think this was do to any mistake or malice, just a miscommunication between myself and Yury. Once I brought this to Yury's attention he promptly took it up with the manufacturer and had new sashes produced and installed within 2 weeks. So while it was a bit of a hiccup, I was extremely impressed with Yury's professionalism and follow up to ensure I was happy with the job. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone else looking for windows.

Can't say enough good things about Sherwin's services in helping us get rid of a raccoon in our roof. Sherwin was a pleasure to deal with, and always responded promptly, even after regular business hours (very convenient for me since I'm at work during the day). He had to come out a couple times because our soffits were in such a bad state that they needed to be replaced before he could properly do his work. He didn't charge us extra for having to make the extra visit and all his work was done very professionally. All in all it was a very good experience and I would not hesitate to recommend him.

We used Living Construction to renovate 3 units in a rental property in May and June of 2013. The work was to renovate the kitchens and bathrooms in each unit, including all new tiling, cabinets, fixtures, etc. The work also included reconfiguring two kitchens and one of the bathrooms, and replacing the flooring in the living room and bedrooms of one unit. We mostly dealt with Tal, who did a lot of the work himself, plus coordinated the on site labour and plumbing sub trade. The work was done quickly and properly. We found Tal to be a hard working and trustworthy individual who cared about the job being done the right way. We were very happy with the end result as the work was done well and on time. The pricing was reasonable and we found Tal to be a fair and honest person to deal with. We would use Living Construction again, and recommend them to anyone.

As part of a renovation we disconnected a couple radiators to do some tile work. In retrospect, this was not a smart move and we ended up having a lot of trouble with our DIY approach to reconnect them. We contacted Kris once we realized that we really needed a professional to look after this, and boy did he save our bacon from what we worried had turned into a disaster. Kris responded quickly and professionally to our initial request for an estimate, and he was able to come and do the work to reconnect the radiators the next day. The work he did was top notch, and he spent the time explaining to us how to resolve some other issues we were having with the system. He also gave us a nice written summary of what to do in the unlikely event we discover a leak elsewhere in the system. Kris also installed a gas and vent connection for our gas dryer. All in all, we were thrilled with Kris' work and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone who needs radiator or gas work done.
