We did a complete reno on our house - everything was stripped down to the main frame and a second story was added to the house. We got Barker Roofing & Siding to do our new roof and all the siding. We had problems with several of our other subcontractors (electricians, plumbers, etc - which I will also try to find and review in Homstars)...but the only work we were truly impressed with was Barker Roofing & Siding. There were lots of tricky angles & facets to our siding - they did a beautiful job. And did it all in a very timely manner. The house looks great! I would definitely recommend them to others.

This was the first time I used Homestars, so I was a little skeptical - but I had previously run into problems with recommendations from contractors or even friends. So I thought I would give it a try. I found several prospects to help me finish my tile floor. I had already laid natural slate tile on my main floor but didn't have the time to grout & seal. Charles at Retrospect was the first to get back to me (within hours!). He gave me a reasonable quote and time frame and explained what was required. He showed up on time, was very nice, and did great work. He charged me exactly what he quoted and everything worked out the way he explained it would. I would definitely hire Charles again anytime...and recommend him to others! Thanks Charles! :)
