This company has changed hands and has no idea what it is doing. The office manager's response to customer is simply refund the money; no idea of how to satisfy the customer. I had 2 plans with Lawn Mart. 1 for lawn care; 1 for mosquito control. Lawn care May 12 - no response - should have been done 3 wks ago. Mosquito control done May 10th - no mosquitos . I paid a premium and was more than satisfied with the service from this company under previous owner; however, new owner is obviously not able to provide the same level of service - sad.

Colleen was easy to work with; taking my vision and coming back with several ideas for renovation. She would bring different finish ideas from the 1000;s available to make it easy to put the total concept together. She arranged purchase of kitchen cabinets, counter top and new furniture. For a reasonable cost it made the process of selection time efficient when visiting various show rooms.

One Time Restoration did quality work with a major open concept renovation - removal of walls, installation of a steel beam (engineering specs include) and new kitchen (kitchen and installation contracted separately). As the general contractor, Walter, had surrounded himself with experienced, professional tradesmen - electrician, plumber, tiller, plasterer, etc. Time for the project was set at 6 weeks and eventually extended to 14 weeks. Allowing 4 weeks for engineering and beam sourcing and preparation; this still leaves One Time 4 weeks over schedule. Balancing to many jobs seemed to be the reason for this with many weeks of only 2 or 3 days on site. Since this is a learning process and usually only a once in a life time project for the client; I would highly recommend the following: 1. In your quote get detail to material and labour break downs. 2. Record daily the number of workers and hours worked. This is more difficult for trades; especially when you may ask for something additional not in the original contract. 3. Get a price quote for any additional work before work is started or materials bought. If you follow above then I could highly recommend One Time Restoration.
