I was quite satisfy with Straight Up Masonry in their work. My chimney was crumbling which needed to be rebuilt and the bottom bricks on my front pillar were deteriorating which needed to be replaced. Prior to hiring Straight Up, Tony was able to answer all my questions and explain to me so I would have a better understanding of the work involved. I was worry about my shrubs and tree in the front yard, but there were no damage. The crew made sure each time they left the driveway was cleaned up. After the work was completed, Tony sent photos of the new chimney. They did an excellent job that my brother-in-law has hired them to rebuild the chimney at his house.

Jeff was quite knowledgeable and professional when I dealt with him. He was quite accommodate to my schedule when he had to remove the old skylight and install the new one. It took less time to do the work than expected. Yes I would definite recommend Moore Skylights.

I ordered iron railing from Josh of Barzel Ironworks. The railing was installed earlier this year. By early summer, the paint was chipping off the railing. I contacted Josh and after several weeks, he came and touched up the areas where it was chipping and left me a small bottle of the touch up paint if it continues. By early fall, I noticed the paint chipping again. I contacted Josh again since the bottle of touch up paint had dried up. After a month of frequent calls, Josh came out again and touched up the areas that were chipping and left me a can of spray paint. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Josh should had removed the railing and had the railing repainted instead of leaving me containers of paint for me to touch up.

I had an old wood deck which was rotting and needed to be replaced. I had Alec replace the old deck with a new PVC deck and remove the shrubs around the old deck. I wanted the base of the deck to be concrete to keep rainwater away from the foundation of the house and to prevent racoons living underneath the crawlspace. Alec was very helpful in choosing the right material for the deck. Thee was no pressure while I was deciding on a contractor. His team was on site early and they were there every day until they deck was completed. The job was done in less time than I expected.
