I don't recommend The Heating Specialist, Portland, Oregon. But if you do, make sure that you include, in the contract how much they will deduct with their mistakes due to poor planning or careless workmanship. A verbal agreement is “no 100% promise was made.” Their 100% No Risk Guarantee, where they state they will make it right or money back. They didn't with me until I hired an attorney to clean up their mess. The equipment manufacturer’s representative found it “mechanically adequate” and was “disappointed with the patch” and “disturbed” with their lack of any notification. The contractor who fixed the mess found several “issues”, including the lower end thermostat they had installed that would not allow the high end furnace to function correctly. Their literature promises 100% customer satisfaction and “lifetime customers.” Not true.
