I don't always review right away, in this case I am glad I waited. The spring of 2014 we attended the Home and Garden show in Calgary, we saw the cabinet refacing in Custom Roll Out Drawers booth, we filled out the form for the quote, and that's where it all began. The first girl that came and did the quote was friendly, and on time, but we were really surprised when she presented us with a $10,000 wish quote not at all what we expected for our small kitchen. We had decided we just could not afford that! Sometime later Brett called and enquired if we would be going forward, I said "no we just cannot afford that", he offered to come and do another quote, his quote was for 6500.00, so we proceeded. Two years forward I noticed a funny edge on one of the cabinet doors, so I look and it looks as though it is peeling, look at another one it too! So I go and pullout my warranty...5 years great! I am goof to go. I take a couple pics, email them to the company and to my surprise a couple days later I get a response saying Thermofoil says this is heat damage and no warranty will be honoured. What?? first of all I never thought I was getting a cabinet door that melts! I was never told about the product, I honestly thought I was getting a wood door! I have 21 cabinet door and 6 drawers all for 6500.00! Anyways I go back and forth with custom roll out drawers and in the end the best I could get was 2 new doors for around 256.00. I have decided that I will not spend another cent on this product, it is cheap, and be prepared to not use your kitchen as a kitchen! Oh and I also read that you should not use your self clean feature on your oven either. Long story short I am still making payments on the "cheap" cabinet doors and will not recommend them at all! I work for a motor vehicle company as a warranty administrator, and I know what it is like to go to bat for someone, and many times we have also absorbed a cost just for the sake of customer satisfaction. I like to cook, but overtime I think about doing it wonder if I will harm my cabinet doors in doing so. :(

Chris was my 4 of 5 quotes I had done for a new furnace and central a/c installation. Our house was built in 1979 and had the original furnace. From the 5 quotes I had done, Chris was by far the best value with the best equipment. Some of the other big name businesses in Calgary quoted me the same price for either almost bottom of the list barely heard of brands, or for a single stage furnace. Chris also quoted for all the necessary upgrades for the City of Calgary code. Most others did not. No surprises at the end with Chris the final bill as quoted! Also the city inspector was here all passed. Thanks to Chris and his staff for a job well done and the best bang for my buck! It pays to shop around. Kim and Brad
