We have purchased our home 5 years ago, and did not know when the last time the chimney had been cleaned, therefore we contacted Capital Chimney Sweep for an inspection, they gave us a free quote, and we went ahead with the cleaning since they had determined it had not been done in quite some time, and if we were to use the fireplace, it would be safer to have it properly cleaned. They were professional, and did a good job without creating any mess in our living/dining room area. Upon completion of the job, they had noted on our invoice that there was no animal screen at the top of our chimney to prevent animals from getting in (we had found a few birds in our fireplace on a few occasions before) and also a crack in the fireplace backing which they had provided a quote for. We will be hiring them again soon to install the animal screen and repair or replace the damaged fire wall.

We were recommended by two separate friends who were each verified satisfied with the product and service provided to them by Verdun. We had a visit from one of the salesman, Michel, who was very straightforward with the pricing and details of the project, no pressure tactics at all, and we felt no obligation to sign or accept the offer.....as we had from a previous window installation company. We were also invited to go see the Verdun window factory in Vars to see the windows being made, which we did and were taken on a mini-tour of the facility and were shown and explained all the different parts and processes of creating the windows. We scheduled the installation date, and were greeted by 3 friendly employees who were very professional. They did a great job, and cleaned up very well....there was no mess or trace of them being there once the job was done. We had 1 minor problem with a window that was not the right size, therefore we informed our sales rep, he immediately took the correct measurement and put in the order for a replacement. 1 week later, they came back to install the replacement window. Now everything is complete and we are satisfied.
