I lost over $6,500 by using Jules Bizier for my bathroom renovation. Total labour charge was to be $12,500. He firstly stopped showing up before it was completed, even though he’d been paid already. Secondly, for the part that he had completed, I then needed to have the shower totally removed and rebuilt by someone who understood how to build a shower. Jules had angled the shower sills to the outside of the shower, rather than inwards. The drain was tipped, the plumbing not attached properly and he’d also used the wrong tile adhesive, which meant that after 6 weeks of drying time (with zero use) the adhesive was still wet and the tiles popped off. The shower floor was so badly angled & dipped that a test of 2 Litres of water poured into it did not go down the drain. I’d also needed someone else to refit the tub, as the drain was not installed correctly. I’ve had a different person correct it all now, and am actually happy that Jules left without finishing, as I would no doubt have had a much higher bill in 3 years once the damage to the walls and floor etc were noticed and would likely have been triple the cost to fix. Better now at only $6,500 to correct his work.
