After not being able to use my washer the night before and trying to fix it myself to no avail, I found these guys on homestars and gave them a call. Within same day, Eric was able to come out and diagnose the problem laying out my options and outcomes. He quickly found there was toonie and cloth lodged inside my drainage pipe in the washer and was able to fix my issue. As a side issue he also took a look at my combioven which was not functioning and diagnosed it as a relay issue but unfortunately did not have the part yet. But so far these guys have been great and friendly, would definitely recommend and the price is fair!

Had an issue with putting up my ceiling fans when I found that one of my housing was very loose, tried to get a couple estimates over the phone with others but most were unhelpful or diagnosed my problem wrong. Gianfranco actually listened and figured my problem wasn’t as bad as I had described and came out to take a look. He was right and he fixed my housing issue within the hour and took care of some other minor problems I had as well. Would recommend and hire him again in a heartbeat!

reached out to whataview on homestars and got a response same day and setup an appointment for a week, process was smooth! Then got a call to see to move up the appointment as they had an earlier availability which was great, team came in and was very professional and finished the job within 2 hours with minimal disturbance to me and cleared my back gutter that was overflowing and cleaned out all my other issues! Would definitely have them come back to keep them maintained to avoid any future issues!

Had issues with our upstairs being too hot and our basement being too cold. Looked into possible solutions and found the aeroseal technology and reached out for a quote. Worked out the details over homestars and booked an appt and Victor arrived the deal promptly and did a very thorough assessment by measuring current air flow and inspecting our hot and cold spots through out the house. He went into every detail from beginning to end on what they do and we were sold, booked an appt and within a month Victor and his team came promptly as scheduled at 8am and was gone before the end of the day after walking us through the report and the work that was done. It's been a week since the work was done and I can confidently attest that the technology works and the rebalancing Victor and his team did has made the quarantine life much more comfortable.

Called Icon as I had been hearing noises in my wall/floors for a week and today the noise was clearly an animal running through my inner walls. They came by within the hour after my call with a team of 2 and assessed my situation and showed me the pictures of the damage and went through the work they would do to remedy the issue. I was satisfied with the explanation and they ended up installing a one way door for the squirrel and installed a mesh cage around the point of entry. Other vents and other possible entrances to the house were also sealed with the job. They had also taken the time to check my attic to make sure mice were not my issue as there were some signs of mice dropping near my chimney hole. Overall I was definitely happy with the work and speed, they were out of here within 90 mins of completing the work, kudos to Ali and his partner. Also they had found carpenter bees in my roof point of entry and sprayed the nest as they had discovered after starting work.

Contacted Envirotech through Homestars and setup an appointment for them to come out within a few days. Mark came in and did an inspection and explained thoroughly what needed to be done and showed me pictures of what was happening in my attic and I agreed that we had to have new insulation put in. So after a day we received an official quote which was competitive so I decided book and was confirmed the same day. On the day of installation, the team was there promptly right at the agreed upon time which is very rare so I appreciated that and the team came in and setup and got the job done while cleaning up within 2 1/2 hours. I would definitely recommend and hire Envirotech for any future jobs needed.

Had a wonderful experience all around with Windows Blinds Direct. Michael came in on time as scheduled and gave us a full consult and measured all the windows. Recommendations were on point and worked to fulfill what our vision for the house was. His quote came in the most competitive out of the 4 and with one of the highest qualities. Felt very comfortable making our decision. The installer Charles came in on the day scheduled as promised and did an awesome installation which was quick and clean. I called Twelve Points after moving into a new home and I found them via homestars due to the glowing reviews and they did not disappoint! They came the day after I called and were on time. Rupert had come in and done a home evaluation and promptly provided an accurate quote that was no different than what they offer online. I have had duct cleaners before that had come in and out in less than 30 mins, but these guys were very thorough in their jobs. They cleaned and pre-vac'd all the vents and then taped them up before the cleaning. Afterwards Rupert showed me the job they had performed on the vents and obviously I was satisfied and would definitely recommend and hire them again!

Called Mike 4 days before I closed on a house to paint my basement before moving in. Had no issues working a short time frame as I had to move in by the end of the week, had a good recommendation on paint and let us know what it would look like. He finished my basement in 2 days with the utmost care, patching up any imperfections to even putting caulking on sinks. He goes above and beyond the regular service you’d get with other painters thanks to years of experience! I would definitely recommend and call on Room at a time for any future paint jobs. Chris was awesome, originally thought it was my dryer that had an issue. However he came and took a look and found it was an issue with the washer instead, saved me from purchasing a 300 dollar part. I would definitely recommend him again!
