We ran into a problem installing a new microwave and the guys from Appliance Evolution had it all done in no time and to our total satisfaction. They will do any type of appliance installation, come when they say they would and do it all with a minimum amount of fuss. Excellent service.

We hired them on the recommendation of a friend. The move went quite well overall and they did work hard. The only reason I cannot wholeheartedly recommend them is as follows: - they did not inspect the unit to be moved beforehand - the blankets they used were not freshly washed and not everything was wrapped properly - they should have used white gloves for the living-room furniture, which consisted of a light cream coloured couch and chairs. We ended up having to have them specially cleaned afterwards, and not all stains were removable. - late start which caused a need to rush at the other end I would consider hiring them again. but would cover the above points in a contract with prescribed penalties.

There's room for improvements: the sales-rep was very good and came up with satisfactory pricing. Delivery service was a bit ''iffy'' - the guys did not handle the equipment with as much care as I would have liked, their dolly was basic steel (as you would use in a warehouse) with no padding. I installed all myself except the Panasonic microwave; the latter is a poor design with the cable and plug installed forward, which makes it pinch when you try to slide into place. I'm dealing with Panasonic on that one. The installers from "Appliance evolution'', which were finally sent by Appliance Canada, were great and the job was quickly done. But to get there, took about five calls to Appliance Canada, tons of voice-mail frustrations (suggest hit ''O'' right away and re-dial if you get the machine) and several calls to sort this all out. In the end, we are satisfied, but feel it should have taken much less effort. One other caveat, the Kitchen Aid dishwasher comes without a vital part - even says so, once you read the instructions; I suggest that the sellers (Appliance Canada and others) either tell the customer up front, or pressure the manufacturer to include this part. Without the part, you cannot install; to get it, you drive half across town for a $ 4.00 part.
