Our Duraceramic floor that was installed in 2010 has taken a beating and some tiles needed to be replaced. I got everything I needed to do the job myself at Alliance and they were friendly and nice and took the time to give me all the details even though my order was relatively small. I would use them if I ever have a flooring job because they care and that is the most important element. When you have a small order many stores don't give you the time of day but Alliance seems to treat all clients well. They deserve the business.

I wanted a new patio door installed as our old one was leaking air and I could see that there was some water penetration. While driving on Steeles Avenue I saw Ecotech Windows and doors. I walked in and I was able to see the doors that they install. The Vista door is the standard which most installers use and while it is acceptable I wanted something a little more structurally heavier. They suggested the Novatech door. Serge their salesman visited and gave me a reasonable price for the up-rated door and as promised today their installer Vadim came with the door. The door itself is incredible and Vadim did an awesome job with the install. In my experience with windows and doors, the installation is just as important or even more important than the product and Vadim took all the necessary steps to make the door weatherproof and look good. I am impressed with Ecotech they supplied and did what they said they would do for the price and on time. I would most definitely recommend them based on my experience. In terms of patio doors I believe the Vista is a good door and is the standard but if you want something a little more sturdy, the Novatech is the one.

James is great to work with and is careful and skilled with everything he does. By redoing our kitchen and back splash we saved a lot of money over redoing our kitchen. The cabinets look like new and the finish is great and easy to clean. We did our island in a matt black and it looks awesome. James was very good about coming back to do a minor repair and touch ups. I would recommend him very highly. I do not recommend highly often but James is an exception. He is good to work with and does good work. James also cares about what he does. Would give him 10 stars.

I asked Christian late in the day for a quote. We have a very special requirement for a boiler and a furnace. There is an option to a boiler and an air handler. Christian was very helpful and gave a lot of detail about what we could expect. He is personable and kind. I would have easily gone with G.T.A I felt that I had used so much time of the other person quoting that I felt obligated. I give G.T.A. 5 stars and I will recommend and use them in the future.

Bright Interiors Inc.

We had a repaint of our house from Bright Interiors the job was done quickly and efficiently. Many spots were missed and in some cases the drywall screws and nails had popped. We also have our washer upstairs which shakes around causing issues. We mentioned this to the owner who did not screw in the drywall like we asked. As a result all the fixes that were made have all reopened and the money was totally wasted. We received a callback but no follow up to our emails or calls after that. We are really disappointed with the service we have received from this company. We don't recommend them at all. Only now after 2 years do we receive a response on Homestars. There was no callback or review. There are many patches that are not painted. What is the use of a discount when the job is substandard. I know that the washer shakes around and therefore the drywall requires more fastening. Response is not satisfactory, no followup no responsibility. Again a response which shirks responsibility. There are large patches of unpainted areas and streaks in others and colour showing through in others. First it was the engineering of my house, then something else and now I am taking advantage of a painting company that would not fix their issues, would not return calls, would not return emails. I run a company and I always tell my clients that you only know how good a company is when you run into a problem. Don't think that Bright Interiors will come back and fix anything by my experience its take the money and run.

Mr. Chemel, the painting in your home was done 2 years ago. At the time we painted you were told that because of the large amount of cracks and screw-pops (which we repaired), it showed the poor quality of work that had been done during your previous renovation/rebuild of your home. All areas had been inspected and approved when we left your home, we also did go back to take care of a few other areas at no extra charge. Regarding your washing machine issue, this is the first time I hear about it, and there is not much we could have done about the poor quality of construction of the walls around it, as you know, we are a painting company. I did have to stop responding to your emails, your request were above and beyond what we had agreed upon and seeing that we had somewhat of a friendship, you received a sizable discount for the services you received. We are sorry that you are not happy with a service which you received 2 years ago from a painting company, maybe you should be writing bad reviews about the poor job you had done from the contractor or engineer or architect who built your home. To respond to your response, we are not responsible for the poor workmanship done by your builder. We did not miss painting of any patches, as this would have been an obvious touch-up when we returned the second time to your home. Sadly I cannot stop you from writing information on this website that is not truthful. We have become a very successful painting company because we excel at customer service and our quality is top notch. We have grown because our customers love what we do for them and we try to make them all satisfied with our service. My guys have learned from me that we do not leave any customers feeling unsatisfied, but at the same time we do not like to be taken advantage off. So to this I say "good luck and good bye".
