Level poured concrete sidewalk
Had level line come out to fix the poured concrete sidewalk between 2 houses. The slabs were very uneven and a tripping hazard. The job was done as explained and for the quoted price. Very pleased with the results
Post holes delayed one week, short notice cancellations
Took a vacation day to be around when the post holes were supposed to be dug. Received a call the day before at 4pm to cancel. Rescheduled to the next week, received a call at 2pm the day before to cancel. I, like most people, can’t just cancel a vacation day last minute and show up at work as the shift has been covered. The 3rd cancellation was due to weather, which is out of their control. I was expecting a call today again to cancel but they actually showed up. Work done was fine, however, other companies I have used in the past were more reliable. I chose Post Hole Digges as they were available sooner than the competition, though with the delays, it wouldn’t have mattered.

I'm sorry that the job had to be postponed a couple of times. However, I do want to remind you that we were ready to come out to do the job and had a crew on their way to you and when they called you you told them that you weren't ready and that you needed to reschedule the appointment. Unfortunately because our schedule is full for at least two weeks ahead it is difficult to squeeze in a reschedule but we did make every effort to do so and the job was done that same week because of our efforts to get you booked in. I'm sorry that the delays happened and that it postponed your job, however, I am glad that you were satisfied with the quality of the work that was done. In the end I believe that is is the quality of our work and our commitment to our customers that sets us apart from the other companies out there.
Daikin ductless air conditioner
My brother in law is a commercial HVAC guy dealing with large condo and commercial/industrial projects. When I asked him for a referral for my residential project he set me up with Sam from Aircom. We installed an in floor radiant heating system so there were no ducts in the house. They provided us with a Daikin split system with one condenser outside the house connected to four heads inside. We received multiple quotes for this involved job and Aircon's was competitive. They were also very flexible in working with me as both the homeowner and GC- and very patient; we had a number of delays to contend with due to other trades. Once the work started, it was complete on schedule and on budget; a very clean install. Follow up to correct a (very) minor issue was prompt and courteous. Very happy and would not hesitate to use them again.
Hired roof pro to take care of my mom's roof prior to the sale of her house. We had a minor leak and the shingles were in very poor shape (2 layers as well) so it needed to be done prior to repairing the drywall. Frank the estimator was great to deal with; good information, not pushy. Roof pro provided a competitive quote, matched the price of another company who was slightly cheaper and didn't try and sell me the moon- all we wanted was a properly done roof with quality materials to sell the house. Their warranty was fully transferable to the new owner which added value to the house. In the end, they showed up when they said they would, the roofers were polite and the work looks good. -1 point for cigarette butts on the ground.
Moving from Bolton to Etobicoke
Hired Viktoria to move my mom from a raised bungalow in Bolton to an apartment in Etobicoke. 3 man crew arrived 15 minutes early and got to work quickly. The staff are paid hourly but I didn't feel like they were dragging their heels to draw things out- they were working hard non stop. They took care to wrap everything and didn't protest when I asked them not to wrap certain items (that I wasn't concerned about scratches or dings). Unloading was quick and efficient, placing the items exactly where we wanted them (and rearranging them when I realized I had put stuff in the wrong room!). Very pleased with their service.
