I called Modern Appliance after several unsatisfactory conversations with other appliance repair companies, based on reviews I read on this site. I was not disappointed. Peter's response to my inquiry was helpful - he even advised me to check on re-calls in case my dishwasher was covered. In the end a repair was needed. He ordered the part required, called as soon as it came in, attended at my house to make the repair (threw in a minor adjustment for free) and was friendly and professional throughout the entire process. I cannot recommend his service highly enough!

This roof job was a major and costly undertaking and it is very difficult to find competent slate roofers, but Toronto Roofing Industries did a first rate job. Their workers were professional, hard working and careful. Follow-up was excellent. We had a couple of minor issues after the main job was completed and TRI was always willing to come back and find the right solutions. Even now, 6 years after the main job, any time I call them with a follow-up issue (such as adding additional features) they respond immediately. I have no hesitation in recommending TRI to friends and family.

I used Hoerner Plumbing and Heating for the first time this fall. Hoerner came highly recommended to me and exceeded my expectations. They were prompt, effective and cost efficient. Their technicians were all very polite and friendly, cleaned up the job perfectly and responded very quickly when I had follow-up questions. I have no hesitation in recommending them to friends and family.

my water supply on my fridge quit working - technician took a look and said I needed a new water nozzle - $320.00. New nozzle didn't work. Technician then said I needed a new "mother board" - $375.00. I didn't bite that time. Different company's technician took the door apart and found ice in the line - fixed it with hot water - needless to say I'm not happy!!! The first technician may have been right, but he never checked the availability of water to the door before he recommended a very expensive part - the ice could very well have been the problem all along - and I certainly didn't need a new mother board!!

I have employed ColourWorks Painting in my home, at my cottage and in other locations I own for over 8 years. I would never consider using any other company. Colourworks is fast, helpful in terms of suggesting design solutions, and cost effective. They produce excellent results. The teams are unfailingly polite and friendly. I have never had a complaint and I would never hesitate to recommend them highly.
