For peace of mind, I wanted to get my locks re-keyed to a new suite key and the master key. The Locksmithers was suggested to me, and even after comparison shopping, they were by far the cheapest. I noticed no compromise in service as Francois remained kind and professional throughout the entire visit, informing me of what he was doing throughout, as well as tips and tricks for maintaining a good lock. Overall, his rate and service was more than I expected and would recommend him as well to others.

What could this company do to improve their services?
Calling ahead before arrival is always a good thing, especially when the schedule is flexible depending on how other jobs are going.
Any advice to offer fellow homeowners facing a similar project?
Changing and re-keying locks is always a good thing, if for none else, peace of mind. Lubrication and maintenance, as well as due diligence in shopping and asking key questions before hiring a locksmith is recommended as well.

Assisted Review

An assisted review is collected by a contractor on behalf of the homeowner after their work is completed. The homeowner must confirm the text of the review and may make any changes she or he deems appropriate. The homeowner then assigns the contractor a review score out of 10. Assisted reviews receive the same scrutiny as other reviews and must follow our review guidelines.

Tom showed up well prepared with his toolbelt and was professional from the very start. He explained the process and conducted a thorough inspection in and around the suite, pointing out various items that required some tweaking. Overall, he was responsive throughout the process, answered all my questions and remained friendly the whole time. I opted not to go with the infrared camera option and he agreed it was not as value-adding for a newer condo. Overall, Tom provided great service, and I would be comfortable recommending Tom for other inspections.
