We purchased our home back in July 2008 and had John come in for a quote since alot of Knob & Tube was present. John worked diligently and addressed other concerns as well which had not be noticed by the home inspector. I've since used him again for additional work & have always been pleased. I've recommended him to friends and family and he always gets the job done right and on time. I highly recommend John and his team!
Washer Sanitary Drain Installation & Faulty Sanitary Trap Repair
In the process of getting a rough-in for laundry facility, Drainworks was the only company who performed a camera inspection prior to providing a quote. Their quote was all-in and detailed all the perticulars. Although they are certainly not cheap, their work, professionalisme, staff and quality of service is second to none. I was satisfied with all aspects of my dealings with them from arranging a quote, meeting with the technician and from the start to end of the project. As an added bonus, they were also able to access a faulty trap from the dug-up area for the washer drain rough-in, saving me the aggrevation of having to dig-up my neighbours front yard in the spring (I live in a semi). All in all, I would recomment them, hands down.

Having recently purchased an old home in Toronto, we knew that work needed to be done. Part of that was getting the AC unit checked-out as it was leaking. I called Dupont as they were the company's who's named was attached to the new furnace in our home. The technician came & detailed that they installed the new Furnace, but the AC unit was leaking onto the new furnace. We were told not to use the AC at all until the leaking evaporator coil was replaced, in order to ensure it did not leak onto the furnace and do any damage. In the middle of a hot August summer, it was hard not to use the AC, but Dupont came in with the part within 72 hours and arranged a quick Saturday appointment for installation. Before I knew it, the problem was fixed & they took time to show me what was done and how to test their work. The AC unit worked perfect since, and no leaks. I am considering calling them for additional work we need done shortly on our duct work.
We purchased our 1st home in Toronto last June and after alot of research and calls, we decided to go with Micheal Fournier from City Wide Home Inspectors. Right from the 1st call, Michael was knowledgeable, truthfull, and gave us a clear perspective as to what his inspection would include and what was not included. He was upfront as to what he could comment on, and what was impossible for him to comment on - due to physical access and no visibility. He was on time, thorough and professional. Since purchasing the home, we've undergone a large renovation project and have been happy to be able to address every item which Michael had addressed on his lift of items to address based on his inspection. We are extremely pleased with his report and would not hesitate in both using him again, and recommend him to friends. From his report, we address little and large issue, which we believed not only saved us money, but helped ensure the small issue did not become a large problem later down the road.
