We started looking in May 2018 for a company to do our roof before the next wet or freezing season (it could be any day here in Edmonton). We had 5 estimates. We chose Reid's Roofing because they were very informative and took the time to make sure we understood all aspects of what was going to take place. They made us feel comfortable with our choices and we are very happy, They did the roof in 2 days in scorching weather and cleaned up and left like they were never here....great job Ninja roofers. Love the color

Our 15 year old Napoleon fireplace was having trouble with the pilot light staying on ???? but once it was lit the fireplace stayed on then when we turned it off the pilot light went out??? Called Gemco and they were very nice and told me right off how much a service call was and when they could come, I explained that we also wanted a fan installed, No Problem The service tech was here September 25, 2018 very early (with a call first) and spent a lot of time trying to figure out the pilot light issue, but after explaining to me what he thought the issue was and what he did to fix it he continued to install a fan. Then he cleaned everything, painted and shined it all up again. Quick, professional, clean and informative about the new installed part. Works and looks like new...Thanks Gemco

While visiting my daughter in Calgary her Frigidair dishwasher would not drain so on Monday I started reading reviews on HomeStars for a reliable company to come out and repair it......after much research I called another company (THAT I WILL NOT NAME) and they came on Tuesday to look at the dishwasher, the technician pushed to drain the water and it drained so he said "it is the liquid Cascade dishwasher soap" Wednesday I used the machine and it didn't drain. I was very angry because I live in Edmonton and needed to have it fixed before I left Calgary on Friday. So I called Maple Leaf Appliance and they were very friendly and had a service technician out a couple of hours later. He asked me to explain the issue and proceeded to take the dishwasher out and layed on his belly to get to the underneath of the machine. It took him a while but he discovered a nut shell in the drain line. Then he explained to me how that nutshell could stop the machine from draining. Yes I want to thank him Jess you did a fantastic job and you were not afraid to get your hands wet. If you have any appliance problems call "MAPLE LEAF APPLIANCE"

My Frigidair dishwasher will not drain......The service technician was on time, friendly and answered all my questions. He checked the dishwasher and found nothing apparent he asked what kind of dishwasher detergent was being used I showed him the "CASCADE" liquid with DAWN (dish detergent) and he said that was the cause. GUESS WHAT this morning after the dishwasher ran it was still full of water. Yup now hang around for another service call tomorrow, not happy

It is true that sometimes repairs don't go perfectly as planned and in these cases we need to return to reassess. You called in to let us know this problem was still occurring and we offered to have the technician return the next day. Your response was that we have the worst service and that this was ridiculous. We offered to refund you the minimum charge service call that you had paid. Your response was that again that this was ridiculous.

I'm sorry things didn't go perfectly for you but I do feel we have been very fair and provided the best level of service possible.

The Service Technician (Adam) arrived on time and was very professional. He explained what he was going to do to the furnace and asked if I had any questions. He serviced the furnace and explained future warranty and service fees. I was very happy with the work and professional conduct. We have used this company many times for different things and we have always been happy with the service and the cost.

We have been in our house for 11 years, it was a new build. The last 3-4 years we have noticed the sidewalk along the side of the house was leaning away from the house. I did some research on what to do/use to fix the problem and decided to go with this company after getting estimates for both back filling with dirt or using Poly Foam. The cost and how long it would last was the deciding factor. They called to say they were on the way and they were very professional they worked quietly and neatly. They left everything clean and were quick to answer any questions and concerns. Now our gate on the side of the house can close nicely and you don't feel like you are about to tip over when walking on the sidewalk. I would recommend this company to everyone who has sinking or tipping concrete. Get it fixed before someone trips and breaks a hip (LOL)

I was surprised at how quickly Dean (the owner) showed up and he was friendly and very informative and had answers for all my questions. He talked to me about different options if I didn't want to go in this direction and was ready to offer me names of companies that did other designs. Now that really is a confident contractor. I ended up going for the cement because i wanted the durability. They even have plenty of choices for cement stamping to give the cement different kinds of texture. By the time the job was done I felt like these guys were friends. Great work and honesty above all.

We originally got our hot tub ordered from SUNDANCE SPAS and they are always very kind and friendly when ever I call them with a question or concern about the hot tub. Because this is our first hot tub we know very little and they help me over the phone when I need to change filters or settings. We can take samples of our water in and they check it for free and give us a print out of what is happening in the water and if anything should be adjusted. They make you feel like family and I would recommend them to everyone who is interested in a hot tub.

The sales lady was nice but didn't seem very interested in the area or recommend certain kinds of carpeting. We gave the half deposit and a couple days later a fellow came out to measure the area. It took about 10 min. 2 days later the installers show up with out calling at 8:30am ( I was told they would call ahead of time) They looked at the area and said they didn't have enough carpet, they showed me the drawing and the guy who measured it missed the landing he was standing on, but got the metal pieces for all the doorways on that landing. The installers went back for additional carpet and as they were installing it they told me that this carpet wasn't good for stairs because the backing is to hard...I have 22 stairs. They got most of the job done by 4:30 and said they would be back tomorrow to put in the doorway match-ups. I was not very happy with the with sales or service.

LAZYBOY store in the west end is friendly and helpful without being pushy or in your face. But not only that the furniture is stylish and there are hundreds of fabric choices all at REASONABLE prices. They have competitive prices and a great warranty, the quality of furniture is way better than the other furniture stores we looked at. If you can wait for YOUR FURNITURE to be built and covered in your choice of fabric you will be far happier. I remembered all this as I was shopping with a friend for her new couch and we went to many competitors stores and at last went to LAZYBOY, Tom Amell was the salesman that helped my friend find the perfect couch and ottoman in just the right fabric. It was a great experience for me bringing back my memory of LAZYBOY and a new memory for my friend who finally found the couch and ottoman of her dreams. I have my own LAZYBOY furniture that we purchased in 2003 and I have washed the cushion covers many times over the years and the fabric is just like new, the arms are firm and the springs are strong. It is worth the wait for the quality and the price is the same as at the competitors only they don't give you choice or quality.

The Technician was pleasant and professional, he was wearing his ID Badge where you could read it clearly when he introduced himself. The job took him about 1/2 hour and he left the area clean. He explained to me what he did and asked if I had any questions, he said if I did later just to call the office. These are the kinds of service people you appreciate having in your home and I will recommend Creative Door to all my family and friends

The long weekend was longer than usual with all the rain and a sump pump that quit working. The weekend could not end fast enough and we called Rob's Albertan first thing in the morning and they dispatched a service technician with the sump pump with in the hour and the whole job was complete before 10am. The technician was professional and informative about the new sump pump. We have used Rob's Albertan many times over the last few years and have always been amazed at the quality of service. I would recommend this company to all our friends and family because they are truly a company with heart.
