Hired Chris to replace a small screen and fix a window in my house that wasn't staying in place. They arrived precisely on time and were courteous and efficient. Everything works well now. Would recommend them.
Landscape lighting for my front yard
After my wonderful landscape architect came up with a quote for $3000+ for 4 landscape lights and a high tech transformer, I sought other quotes for the same work. After some research on Homestars I found LID Inc. Brendan came, looked at the job and provided some practical suggestions. He helped to choose the appropriate design and then professionally installed all of it over a few hours. The front yard looks great. These guys know what they're doing and can provide reasonable options for landscape and deck lighting. Recommended.
Hi Bill, I'm glad we were able to help you with this. We've learned we don't need to specify the most costly transformers and light fixtures to effectively complete a project. The best approach is to find a product that's priced in the middle that balances design and quality of materials without going completely overboard on features that provide diminishing returns. Peter is the Appliance Whisperer - this guy is a PhD of appliances - he can diagnose and fix anything, including my 3 year old Kenmore fridge, which needed a new control board and drain tube. Quick response, knowledgeable and gets the job done. Only small, small drawback is he's a little expensive.. but you have to pay for quality, right ? ! and you get what you pay for. Overall very satisfied with Peter and Pambis Appliance. Thanks Peter !

Squirrel invasion through my chimney
mysterious noises in flat roof on 2nd floor of our house - I had another animal control co come, they "inspected" but found no points of entry. Called SWAT for a second opinion - they did a proper inspection and found loose bricks and hole in chimney along with fur - the little buggers used the chimney to enter the house - very smart. SWAT installed a one way gate and made sure it was all secure - no problems and no squirrels since then! Great company, great service
