Townhouse complex window replacement
The windows are superior quality and so was the installation. There was not even a small piece of debris anywhere throughout the installation. They were professional, polite and courteous We will be calling them to do our new sliding door replacements next year. Amazing job.
Redesign and planting of large front gardens
We are a small townhouse complex and needed our gardens at the front of the complex redone. unfortunately she did not stand behind the quality of her plantings. We have a great number of plants that did not make it through the winter that she has told us she is not replacing. It is a real shame that a landscape company doesn't stand behind their products. I would suggest anyone looking for quality, to look elsewhere.
This particular complex was large and refused to purchase an irrigation system as recommended. Therefore relying on the neighbouring properties to use their personal water to take care of these plants. It is well known that plants are living specimens and cannot survive without the proper care, especially watering. Considering it was a hot summer last year. Many provisions were used to minimize the stress to the plants , like mulching, triple mix soil and frequent personal visits by myself to ensure these plants were getting sufficient amount of water. There was a makeshift irrigation a system that was only watering a 1 ft radius around the sprinkler. This was noted to the person in charge in an email and was not rectified. Therefore our policy is no watering- no warranty. Also no warranty on dogs urinating on plants and this was not fixed either. During install is was noted that many dogs were walked along the sidewalk and urinating on tiny, unestablished plants. Impossible for plants to withstand the heat and nitrogen from constant dog urinateing. This is evident when the plants along the sidewalk are dying but the same specimens set back are perfectly fine. Also noted and emailed to the head of the board.
Unfortunately, there was no gratitude given to the fact that about 20 free hostas and ground cover were planted along the fence at no cost, to fill in an empty spot.
And there were 25 grasses replaced even though when removing the old ones, the root balls smelt like dog urine. Evidence of toxic shock.
In order for dusildesign to keep a fair price there needs to be stipulations on the warranty as these are living specimens and we cannot warranty lack of watering, animal destruction, theft and vandalism. Although in this case I did replace about 3 hydrangea and 24 grasses without hesitation. Because dusildesign is knowledgeable in horticulture and has a great repport among our clientele and therefore only does business by referrals and thrives by this method.
