After 25 years (8 with broken seals) we decided to replace our front window. We check a couple of local companies and then decided to get one more price. We ended up at Ottawa Windows and Doors, mainly because they are one of the few that are open on Saturday. We met with Rob who explained the pros and cons of the windows we were looking at. He also explained about the glazing available - the first time we had heard of it. We received our quote in less that a week and when we called Rob, (Friday afternoon at 5:00 p.m. he arrived at our house around 7:00.m. to measure up. Our window was installed less than one month later. Sharon Wood, the Admin Assistant was in constant contact with us to let us know the installation date, etc. The installers, Benji Eckford and Dennis Perras were excellent - leaving the outside and inside neater and cleaner than when they arrived. A red carpet was laid from the front entry to the window, so no dirt was left on the carpet and our couch and nearby table were draped with plastic so no dust was found when they left. If you are looking for new windows I would not hesitate to go to Ottawa Windows and Doors at 60 Colonnade Drive in Ottawa. We are already thinking about replacing a few more windows in the fall.
