Valentin has come to our rescue so many times. Most recently the drain in the kitchen was good and blocked. A problem was have with the set up of our plumbing before we moved in is a long path between the kitchen and the sewer. Valentin is the only person who could fix it properly. I trust Valentin to get it done no matter what.

Found sawdust on my deck on June 30 and was pretty sure some pest had gotten into my balcony. Called Pestend and Javaid came on Canada Day the next morning to address the issue (carpenter bees). My neighbour couldn't believe that anyone would come out that day for a job - neither can I now that I think of it. He found the problem and addressed it and that was that! Very good customer service is what I got on both the occasions I have used Pestend.

Raccoons had figured out how to open the backdoor to my garage, for which I had lost the key years earlier and always left unlocked. Alon responded to my request on Homestars in minutes. Three hours later he came, and changed the lock on that door. The battery for the garage door which had been beeping during all of COVID he was also able to change, something I thought I would otherwise have put off for more months. He did everything in less than half an hour and even oiled up the mechanism on the main garage door which I didn't even ask him to do. He was incredibly courteous and cheerful. What a great work ethic! I wish everything in life was this easy.

Had a great experience with Blake. Put my job in Homestars - Blake called right away. Cam early on Sunday on Victoria Day weekend no less and replaced my dead outlet in no time at all. Even took extra time with the cover which had been put on with the cover opening the wrong way and with a piece missing that would protect the outlet against wet. He cheerfully addressed those issues explaining the whole time why he was doing it. Thanks Blake!

Javaid came and did a super thorough job getting rid of both black and brown ants that were in our front hallway. He also did an inspection around our house and had some tips to avoid encouraging mice and other vermin to nest nearby. One treatment was enough, was not sure that was even possible given how many ants we had been seeing. Thanks!

We have used Valentin for years. Faucets, drains, toilets - he always comes through for a reasonable price! He's very quick to come and it helps if you can text pictures in advance.

I have used John on three or four occasions and he does a fantastic job. Goes the extra mile for you and has great advice. I cannot imagine why you would use anyone else and his prices are extremely fair - too low considering the time that he puts in for you. Terrific value and terrific service - thanks John!

These guys are very professional, courteous and reliable. I can't recommend them highly enough. They came in on time, worked incredibly hard, were neat, and delivered exactly what we were hoping for. We were in need of a few things including widening our driveway by installing a path, channeling our gutters into a French drain in the backyard, building two wonderful sheds and laying stone around one side of our house. Also building gates for the fence on each side of the house. They totally delivered. Scott, Alan and Bart are great guys you can count on to get the job done right and on time. Would not want to use anyone else - simple as that.

We couldn't have done our last move without CityBoxes. Simply put, the service is excellent. Andrew is the nicest guy you'd ever care to meet, and the boxes are terrific for moving because they are so durable, easy to open and close and stack great in a moving truck.
