Max and his team did a great job on our upstairs floor and staircase, replacing old hardwood and vinyl with plush carpet, and leveling the floor where it had settled into a slope. They also installed a new railing and baseboards. We were delighted with the quality of the work, and Max’s flexible approach in response to the conditions he discovered once he ripped up the old flooring. I would definitely recommend this company to a friend.

We were looking for someone to paint our external window frames and porch when Painting TO’s flyer fell into our mailbox. Mario came to quote the day I called, and started work the very next day. In spite of the short notice, he and Danny worked into the weekend to get the job done, and the quality of their workmanship is great. they were really knowledgeable about the job and we have already asked them to quote for another project on our interior painting.

The cold weather brought up hundreds of black ants digging through the floor of our bassement. Kevin came and put down a poison which completely got rid of them for 2 months. I had resisted him doing the main floor (where our baby plays a lot) but when the ants started to emerge there a couple of months later, Kevin came back and did this area without charge. Friendly, professional and full of good advice - I'd defnitely recommend this company.

Hire a Maid have been my cleaning service for several years now. The ladies are prompt and friendly and do a wonderful job of making our house look spotless. The only downside is that they sometimes can be a little careless - we have had a few breakages over the years - but accidents happen and the managers are always quick to deal with any problem which arises and to reimburse any losses. In my experience, this is not always the case with other companies.

New Century came to do an initial cleaning at a cost of about $200, which I paid at the time. After they had gone, I discovered that a kitchen gadget had been broken and there were marks on the wooden floor. I called the company and was told that the broken item was "no problem" - they would pay for a replacement. Regarding the floor, I was told not to attempt to fix it myself, but that they had a guarantee and would come back to redo the floor without charge. Although I was frustrated by the need for both these things, I accept mistakes happen. However, when the team came back they were unable to remedy the marks on the floor. Now they are refusing to pay for my replacement gadget ($50) and are claiming I owe them a call out fee ($100) for coming back to redo the floor!
