Competent, thorough, comprehensive, knowledgeable and professional. Those words describing Pierre seem, somehow, inadequate. Pierre's company was highly recommended to me by a colleague practicing in the building industry. I met with Pierre to inspect the condo unit where my daughter had put in an offer. While I am not a technical expert in this field, my technical background and experience as a do-it-yourself homeowner had me concerned about some issues. Pierre not only confirmed my suspicions but identified other important factors that clearly demonstrated his deep understanding and extensive experience in the construction industry. He was able to point out a number of telltale signs indicating issues and backed up his observations with an impressive knowledge of building codes and construction practices. Even more impressive was the thoroughness of his inspection leaving virtually no aspect unreviewed. Pierre's evaluation is straight-up. It is not sugar-coated and he tells it like it is. Home inspection is a difficult thing to do well. It is important to choose someone who is experienced in building design and construction.
