Before beginning work and meeting the team was the most satisfying part of their work. Everything sounded good and they seemed fast and efficient and as thought they would have everything under control. Once the work started, late, we never got back on schedule, things lagged and work was slow. We fell off the critical path and substantial completion was months behind.
The only advertisement this company had were some flyers posted to a telephone post with contact tags to tear off. I needed some regular garden maintenance and after having so many bad experiences, I thought I may as well contact them. So glad that I did. I would call them inexpensive, not cheap - because it is the same work quality you get from expensive Kerrisdale firms, but a fraction of the price! professional timely service, very accurate quotes, friendly intelligent staff - all in all a great find. I took the liberty of adding this company to Homestars because I think a lot of people could find a lot of benefit in using Rain Coast Land Escapes.
I called these guys in to fix the problems that my previous landscaper had left behind. They came in slightly below their quote and I swear they worked more hours than I was charged for. The only reason I can figure for this is they take pride in their work. I will definitely use them again!

Overpriced. Quote was high but I had heard good things about them so I thought I'd give them a try. I wish I hadn't. The gardeners were consistently late and took more coffee breaks than I thought people could handle. Then the quote came in not a few dollars higher or even a few hundred, but several hundred - just shy of a thousand over a quote I was told was very accurate. In all fairness they did do a good job, but it was not worth the money.
