June 11, was quoted repair price of $50 per blind (5 blinds) at mother's residence for restringing. String was to be ordered and work done right after string arrived. Followed up the next week- string was on order. Mother heard nothing and called after another week. Price quoted was now $75 per blind, an increase of 50% over the original quote. (String costs @$32). Finally got hold of owner August 15th, 2008 after leaving numerous messages. He said he hadn't been able to reach my mother (don't know how he got the higher quote to her) and hadn't received any of my messages, despite my leaving them on the business answering machine. Do not do business with a company who does not return calls and tries to take advantage of the elderly sick.
