While renovating our kitchen, I made more trips to Home Depot than I can count. Their service was always remarkable. They have some of the most helpful and knowledgable people working there. Returns and exchanges are usually not a problem (although take a bit of waiting sometime) and they always have a wide selection in most categories of products.

They did a great job painting the outside of our house. However, their pricing was not competitive when I called them back for a quote for the inside. They give excellent service but make sure to get alternate quotes as they are not always the cheapest.
