We called OWWD because they had provided a great service a few years back when we replaced 5 windows at this property. We were not disappointed this time either. From first contact to final product we were treated as valued customers and our time and budget respected. This time we were looking at window replacement at 2 properties. I was told that the windows at the first property did not need redoing, just glass replacement. How wonderful to find a company that is out for long term rather than short term gain. It's how I knew we had made the correct choice both this time and last. The 2nd property window replacement was completed before agreed upon date (yay!), it was done quickly, professionally, respectfully and on budget with no extra costs. I have confidence that the product and installation will be superior as the windows done a few years previously have had no issues and still look good as new.

From start to finish it was a pleasant experience. We are doing a home reno and Laporte has been patient, helpful as well as timely (fast!!), efficient, on budget (no surprises) all at a reasonable cost. Hana was most patient and helpful with my timeline, Shayne was punctual for estimate, template and installation. Work site was respected and left clean and tidy. Follow up to guarantee satisfaction was quick and sincere. Estimate was the lowest while staying local and not outsourcing to China - although it almost beat them too! I would have no issues recommending to friends and family.

We needed our basement finished as soon as possible after a quick move and not enough space for our family. Trent and crew not only did it earlier than promised but he did it well and on budget. He crew were polite, personable, on time, professional and willing to go a little further to make sure we were happy. Everyone was also pet friendly which in our case made the whole project so much easier. We, including my hard to please husband, are thrilled with the job and would not hesitate to recommend this company to friends and family.

We used this company to stage our home for sale. The house looks lovely and the furniture they chose was well suited for the market the home is aiming for. The company was on time for appt's and came on time with the products used. No damage to walls or property during move in. Pricey but worth it.

It wasn't the least expensive but the service and showroom made me feel confident in the choice. They came when they said they would, they installd quickly and efficiently and set up the appointments needed to get gas company approval. Would buy from them again.

They were okay in the end. The bathroom tiles were not done well and I phoned to let them know. Also, they did not re instal the toilet properly so there was leakage stains on our dining room ceiling. It took writing a poor reiview on their website (which they disputed so those reviews are questionable - only good ones show up) to get the job redone - a year later after many non returned phone calls/emails. In the end they did come and redo the job and repaint the ceiling after fixing the toilet. The stains have reappeared, unfortunately. The work is now fine and dependant on price I would go back.

fabulous service. Came within a half hour even though it was at the end of the day. Did the repair that another company could not and did not charge when it went almost a half hour into overtime. Definately will be my 'go to' company.

Had our house reroofed with GNH in 2009. Good job and referred them. Although the referred person used our name as a referral we did not receive the promised $100 referal incentive. Job was good though. Wanting to reroof another and emailed and was told someone would contact. The email sent from GNH was not particulary nice or professional. A week later we still have no contact. 2 others have come and given estimates. I agree with the comment that they are now too big. Cutomer response: yes, I said 'job was good', as was customer service in 2009. I have requested in 2013, but no longer require from this company.

After receiving a few estimates this company was the lowest. Not by much, but by a little. The thing that put it over the top was the service. They explained exactly what would happen, arranged a plumber to come and do the work needed (other companies did not even tell me I needed one, let alone arrange for it) and co ordinated with the plumber to cause me the least inconvienience. I gave it a 4/5 for satisfaction as there is a join where noticable and I don't know if that would have been with all companies or not. there is a small chip that they would come out to fix but I was waiting for a follow up 'satisfaction' call that did not come. It isn't major so I will not worry.

We hired this company after receiving an estimate. They were prompt, effcient and on budget. No hidden surprises. Clean up was done properly and nothing was left for us to do. Work has held up.
