Louis LArtisan,quality,custom cabinet maker Our 34 yrs old kitchen was in great need of renovation. The first phone call we made was 2 yrs prior from the renovation and so we reserved our preferred time to do it. End of winter 2023 ! We gave carte blanche to Marie-France to design the kitchen because she is the expert of a functional kitchen. Her insights, advices, recommendations catch our attention, trying to match our existing style already established in our house. From the first visit, she gave us a vision of a plan of our new kitchen, followed by a thorough estimate by Denis of what to expect in the aspect of construction/ renovation. Its a personalized service and they coordinate your entire project, giving you suggestions, insights. At the atelier, you can choose all your material with her insights ( colour ,style of cabinets, countertop, backsplash, handle, floor tile, paint, handle ,sink, faucet. It can be very overwhelming choosing all of this but not if you have somebody to guide you. They meet all of our expectations: quality, custom made, delivery, installations, commitments, schedule, punctuality, expertise, professionnalisme, meticulousness. They were weeks in advance to start the renovation so we opted February 21th for the start of renovation instead of after Easter. The best time for renovation!! Different crews for different tasks : Denis, Frank, Jessie and Francis for demolition, reconstruction of walls, preparation of subfloor, duct work, plumbing. Simon for sandblasting of ceilings and walls, reparation ( plating ) application of primer. Shawn, Sebastien, Mathieu, Justin, Philippe the electricians from Séga. Dominic for painting. Jack, Rémi and Miguel for the installation of our porcelain tile and backsplash. Jesse and Francis for delivering, preparation of all the cabinets with great care. Luc, Warren, Frank for the installation of cabinets, the trim and the resurfacing of our stairs to match our railings. Denis installed all the appliances and finished all the little jobs here and there. We couldnt ask for a better crew: collaborative, professional, knowledgeable, very cordial, funny, polite. They are respectful of the property, on time, on site every day following a schedule that is on site for the client to refer with all the plans, details of every aspect of the renovation. If they say its going to take 7 weeks, they deliver their commitment! Like every renovation, we encountered problem but they were always resolved effectively with a great professional advice. They keep the client inform of what is coming if there is a change, who is coming, when to expect them. They have a system of master key outside so it can facilitate the access of different crews. We can attest that they were at our house 7h20 am leaving at 17h sometimes 18h, 20h, to finish whatever job they had to do. Very dedicated crews! Anytime we needed to reach the designer Marie-France or the supervisor contractor Denis Gadouas, they were always responding, returning call or coming on site the same day!What a great positive leadership that we experienced. And let not forget all the employees that worked behind the scene at the shop in Bourget to fabricate all these customs cabinets, with technology etc and even to repair, retouch if needed. It is a very well oil machine this company! Louis LArtisan is a big family working together. What a great company that is also teaching, training new staff. We had complete faith in there abilities to restore beautifully our kitchen, to renovate part of our house at the same time, for many more years to enjoy with family, friends or in a couple intimacy. We were not disappointed! Every employees who worked at our house treated it like it was there own house. We are grateful to have the Heart of our home, the kitchen , restore to a level we could not have imagined, anticipated: open concept, functional, calm, grand, serene, warm, welcoming. Every visitor are in awe of the first glimpse of our new kitchen. We do not hesitate to recommend the service of Louis LArtisan.
