I went to St.Jacob's Furniture to buy a new hutch with the money my wife and I got from our wedding. The service at the initial sale was fine, but once they had our deposit they turned into the worst company I have ever had to deal with. They claimed we would have our hutch in around 2 weeks. 6 weeks later it showed up, and looked like someone had attacked it with a hockey stick: gashes, dents, even the glass was scratched. I refused delivery. Rather than apologize and try to make things right, the company acted as though the hutch was fine, and t was my problem that after now two months (and counting) I don't have a hutch. They have refused to offer a refund, they have never apologized, and have been obstinate, self-righteous, and outright rude every time I have had to deal with them. Getting them to re-order a replacement unit has been more painful than a root canal. Avoid this store at all costs.
