Rik McKean is the owner/operator. We hired him to build a two-story garage, which included a workshop, studio, bathroom, winemaking room and storage. He is professional, conscientious, courteous, and patient. Rik was very flexible during the building process, offering us numerous suggestions for improvements in both usability and cost. He was also very understanding and adaptable to make changes we wanted in the plan as the building progressed. He was sensitive to building on our ecosensitive building site in the Woodland zone and suggested recycled material (glass) as fill for the foundation. Rik was a great problem solver to work out some solutions for stairs and access across and up a rock face to our house. We were pleased with his workmanship, easygoing manner and reasonable cost. We will be hiring him to work on additions for our house.

Chris Carrier is the owner/operator. He is professional conscientious, courteous, and an excellent listener to individual needs. He considered our situation of needing to replace our system and increasing the volume for our upcoming and future possible additions on our home. We found that he has strength in creative problem solving with the detailed design in our particular situation not only to be functional but also to meld with the features of the Woodland Zone we are situated in. Also as a bonus he made very effective use of time and was very cost effective. We also hired him for excavation of our unique building site and were pleased.
