This company has only 3-4 service people to answer service calls so they cannot answer calls in a highly responsive way. They are very good at plumbing related work. My experience with them has been terrible as far as heating and air conditioning.
I have used Hudson for so many moves I have lost count. We live in a large condo and we use them to move heavy furniture in our unit + I have used them on a few moves from home to home. I highly recommend Hudson. I have used other movers in the past and the men they send to perform the work cannot compare to the professional uniformed workers that Hudson sends.
Extenisve wall, bathroom, office cabinetry
We had Parker House Furniture make/install extensive cabinetry work in our home a few years ago. While the quality of the work is very good, I would not use them again nor recommend them for these 3 reasons: 1) the company is run by 1 person - who is himself a cabinet maker. He does not use email/fax, rarely answers the phone or returns a call - except initially just before you make a large deposit. This is because he is personally out working on all the jobs they have on the go. 2) Once our job was complete we decided to add a small bit of extra cabinetry work to one room. This was done, but the extra work needed a small adjustment in order to be correct. When I asked Parker House to come back to make the minor adjustment I was told by the owner: “We now have many big jobs booked so we have no time to come to your place and do this work." 3) We live in mid-town Toronto. Parker House is 1.5 hrs away. We will never again choose a contactor who is at the mercy of rush hour traffic every time they come to perform work.
