I hired Astara after having an absolutely horrible experience with an unscrupulous company. Steve showed up on time, every time. He was very thorough in explaining how the windows would be installed, and I would say, the method they use is above and beyond every other company I have spoken to to date. The install included wood trim, drip sills and flashing. Unlike most who only seem to rely on caulking. It took three days and three men to install the windows. After they were done, they cleaned up, and you couldn't tell they were even there. I can't say enough about how happy I am with my new windows and the fabulous customer service. You just don't find that too often any more. I would tell anyone with confidence to hire Astara. You won't be disappointed.

I met the owner of R E MacDonald Stove & Stones at the Homeshow this past year and I was extremely impressed with him. They have a huge selection of fireplaces on display at their shop and extremely knowledgeable staff. Rick helped me choose the right inserts and Gino and Dave did an amazing job with the river rock and granite. All of the work was completed a few days after making my decision as to what I wanted. I couldn't be happier! R E MacDonald Stove & Stones restored my faith in the home renovation sector, this after a horrendous experience with a renovation company that went out of business. This, after taking $23,000+ of my money with them and leaving me with nothing to show for it. Thanks again R E MacDonald Stove & Stones. I will certainly be referring all of my friends to you.

I hired Ecowest, based on the reviews I read here on Homestars. There are some serious issues going on here with getting any work done. I've been waiting 31/2 months and still nothing. If you do decide to go with them, or any other company, under no circumstances, advance them any money before the work is complete. Run away from this company as fast as you can!!!!

This company replaced the gutters on my home. They were here for about 2 hours, and the job was complete. The new gutters look good. Only time will tell if the screen on top will keep the debris out. For that reason, I can't give 5 stars.

Horrible experience. They advertise free things to get you into the store. When you make the purchase they forget to give you the free item. They neglected to tell me that they would not hook up my washer unless I bought new hoses from them. They talked me into getting a Brick card. Once I got the bill, there were extra things on there, that were not on my original invoice. I dealt with salesperson Irene, who was very sweet, but apparently she didn't know her stuff. I then dealt with Paul, who took off the delivery charge for my troubles, but was unable to help me at all with my Brick account. Customer service at the Brick financial is horrendous! It took me 2 hours on the phone to get things somewhat resolved. Will never patronize this business again.

I found this store via an add on Craigslist and I couldn't be happier. I bought a king sized re-claimed pine bed frame. The price was competitive and we love the bed! Very cool store to browse as well.

I hired Maria about a year ago to look after a house with 2 suites. She inspects the house every 6 months, and if there is a problem, she hires to appropriate person/company to do the repairs. This has taken a load off my mind, and Maria does a fantastic job.

I have used Chris from Poco appliances a number of times for my rental units. He has always been great and tells me when it's better to replace than repair.
