I received a few estimates to install hardwood in the main floor of our house last year. I went with Andy as he seemed very genuine and professional. Andy said that it would be a 2 day job, and he would arive at 7:30am Andy and his co-worker arrived right on time, and worked very efficiently. They arrived the next day right on time again and worked straight through the day finishing up a little eariler than suggested. When they were done they cleaned up and there was no junk left over. They did a fabulous job and everyone who saw our house before and after loved the look of it. We will recommend Andy to anyone who is thinking of having hardwood installed in their home.

I hired Nu edge because Nick (the owner) seemed very professional and the rates were quite good compared to some of the other quotes we received. They were delayed a week or so in starting due to weather which is understandable. When they did work, the job was done rather quickly and looks good. My only complaint is when I called Nick to discuss a few minor issues I had with their service, he did not apologize, was very nonchalant, sarcastic and seemed to play it off as if the issues were nothing... he had an "it happens" attitude. He did return a few days later to try and fix one of the issues, and spoke to my husband in a much more professional manner than he spoke with me. When I spoke with him again, he FINALLY apologized for the mishaps and acted in a more professional manner. I will tell friends about his service, but I will also have to tell them about his attitude. COMPENSATION WAS REQUESTED FOR NEGLECT THAT WAS SHOWN TOWARDS MY PROPERTY (AND MY NEIGHBOURS), DAMAGES TO ITEMS, AND FOR THE DISREPECTFUL WAY I WAS DEALT WITH WHEN I CONFRONTED NICK WITH THESE ISSUES

Company Response

Thank you for choosing Nu Edge Roofing for your re roofing project. You as a customer are entitled to your opinion, I did return to your property and spent apprx 90 minutes trying to adjust the dish that was knocked out of place, I then offered to pay for a technician to come out and fix it, I also offered you compensation for not having certain channels for apprx 1 week, this i beleive was sufficient yet you took it upon yourself to request personal compensation, this is where i draw the line,I am of the opinion that you took my words out of context the first time you contacted me after the work was completed, this is unfortunate, I will always treat people with the uppermost respect, the same way i wish to be treated as a professional. Thank you again for using our company. This part of my response is directed to your edited review at the bottom part with all the capitol letters, First of all Personal compensation was requested because you shceduled the bell technician to come in on a weekday therefore you would have to take the day off to be there, when i asked if you could possibly schedule the technician to come in on a saturday you did not like this because it would have been a little longer, but i mentioned that i was already paying for the downtime of the certain channels, i do beleive there has to be some consideration taken here, I also am a customer to many people and understand that when someone is sincere in trying to help me the last thing im going to do is try to take advantage of him or her. By using capitol letters to convey your opinion you are assuming that your opinion is correct and not to be scrutinized, I beleive that within the context of my response to you, an answer has been found to your initial complaint of "Need to improve customer service skills"
