Arlee in Philadelphia

My daughter has drawn all over my living room walls with crayons that were supposed to be washable. I decided to prime and paint my living room, since the crayons were not coming off the walls. The staff at the Germantown Ave Benjamin Moore are wonderful! The store is located in the most adorable part of Philly called Chestnut Hill, and despite having more customers than staff, I was greeted right away. I bought the most beautiful shade of light sunny yellow, and so far, this paint is covering thick and nice in just one coat, as promised!

I am a sucker for kitchen equipment and gadgets. Believe it or not, there were some that I didn't have and needed to pick up immediately. I had forgotten about Kitchen Kapers until I drove past on my way back from visiting a friend, so I stopped in and looked around. I was in search a garlic keeper and a round cake cooling rack. I was in the store less than 10 minutes when I found both, at amazing prices! The staff was excellent, and the store was neatly arranged, clean, and smelled like freshly roasted coffee beans!

I needed a new bedside table for my bedroom, and since I had never been in West Elm before this occasion, I decided to give it a shot. I was greeted immediately by Dennis, who showed me every table on the sales floor, as well as several in the catalog. I was indecisive, and he was able to help me make a decision. A month now, I'm still loving my new bedside table!
