We had a fantastic experience with this company. Our fence was only 120 ft total, and alot of larger companies wouldn't even bother with a smaller job like ours. They came for the estimate when stated, started the job on time, and finished in 2 days total. Their estimate was also lower than most of the other estimates we had received, and the quality of the work is great. We'd use them again in a heartbeat. Our only minor annoyance was that after drilling the post holes, and bringing up mostly clay (Toronto soil), it would have been nice to remove it from the location, so it didn't get pressed on top of the garden soil and plants. We ended up doing this ourselves, and then had to call a junk company to haul it away. Not a big deal, and probably true of every fence company, but just something to think about. Love our fence though!!! :)

I contacted a number of other companies, most of whom never returned my calls, or were busy for several weeks. Sergio called me back promptly, and was able to clean the gutters that same day. It hasn't rained yet, so I don't know how much better they are working yet, but fingers crossed. There were reasonably priced, and I will use them again in the future.

These guys are great! We hired the Moore brothers after contacting a couple companies from homestars, and getting estimates for our painting job. The Moore brothers were the most reasonable of the three, and also gave the best breakdown of the work, so we knew exactly what we were paying for. Kevin was very easy to deal with, and prompt in replying to any questions we had. The finished job is fantastic...they were quick with the work, but very thorough, doing an extra coat of paint on areas that needed it, even though it wasn't in the original estimate. We will definitely be using them in the future when we paint the upstairs, and would absolutely recommend them!

These guys are great! Nick returned our call within an hour, finalized a time for the next day, and called us back to confirm well after regular office hours. He did a great job, at a reasonable price, even though it was more complicated than what he had originally thought. He also just seems like an honest, hard-working guy. If we need more gas or appliance work in the future, we'd definitely call Nick again.

Wow, these guys are amazing! I wish I could give a rating above 10! They returned my email promptly, scheduled for the next day, and did the job for a whole lot less than I was expecting it to cost me. I was concerned that with the age and general disrepair of the garage door and opening mechanism, that we might need a whole new door, but Mike the installer said it would be fine. What a relief! He was totally professional and confident, and did a great job. This company strikes me as hardworking nice guys, who do a great job at a reasonable price. Who wouldn't want to use them. In the future, when we're redoing the whole garage and doors, we'll definitely be calling them up. Couldn't recommend more!

Our experience with Handyman Connection was not great. I think they likely employ several different handymen, and it really depends who you get. We were looking to have some relatively simple jobs done, but just didn't have the time to do them ourselves. The person who ended up coming was very nice, likely recently retired but wanting to stay active, but not particularly good at his trade. The shelves he hung were not level (honestly, how hard is that?), the outlet was crooked, as was the dimmer switch. I was out when the work was being done, and didn't see it until he was already done. When we called the company to complain, nothing was ever done. And the cost of it seemed quite high for what was a relatively simple job. We would not hire them again, and wouldn't recommend them. There are likely better handymen out there.

We called up Snap Pest Control because we'd seen a couple mice (or perhaps the same one) and wanted to nip a potential problem in the bud. Joe came out right away, showed us potential entry points, and blocked them up with wiring. He also laid down these black boxes containing poison, although on future inspection the mouse apparently weren't interested in them, and hadn't taken the bait. Joe came back to our house a couple weeks later, helped us block off another entry point we had identified (under the dishwasher...those mice are sneaky!), and we haven't seen a mouse since! Fingers crossed. We would certainly recommend Joe for his thoroughness and professionalism.

Having just bought our house, and the previous owners having two large dogs, we wanted to get the ducts cleaned.Well worth it! The amount of dog hair was gross (Steve described one hair ball as the size of a raccoon), and he and Matt were both very professional and thorough. They recommended we have it done every 5-7 years (assuming no more giant dogs!), and gave us tips on how we may be able to reduce that even more. We appreciated that, as many other companies will recommend you do it every 2-3 years, which Steve said is purely cosmetic, and not really necessary. We wouldn't hesitate to use the Duct Cleaning Specialists again, and would certainly recommend them to anyone.

We found Bill through this website, and after consulting with 3 other electricians, decided to go with Bill because of his thoroughness, and his professionalism. All of the estimates came back relatively close, but Bill's estimate was the most transparent (he breaks down what everything cost, so there are no hidden surprises at the end), and he pointed things out that none of the other electricians had noticed. The updating took about a week and a half, including all the patching and sanding of the walls. His team were very respectful and efficient, and you can barely tell where the holes were after all the plastering was done. We were pleasantly surprised, as we'd heard some horror stories from friends who'd had knob and tube work done in the past. At the end of the job, Bill even reimbursed us for 3 or 4 items that he didn't have to do (they were already up to code), reducing the fee by roughly $500. A less honest person wouldn't have done this, and with all the work being done, we likely wouldn't have noticed it. It's nice to work with someone with such integrity. In the end, we were very pleased with Bill's work, and would recommend him hands down to anyone. In the future when we need any electrical work, he'll be the one we call.
