We had 146 feet of 48" wood fence intalled, with 1 x 4 red cedar boards, dog eared top, 2 1/2" spacing & 2 pass gates. HI-T gave us the lowest estimate. The price included tax. It took about a week before they started the fence, as they order materials as needed to hold down costs. Putting up the fence itself took about 3 working days. They dug the post holes by hand, to help avoid damage to any unmarked, buried lines. They were able to put in two full days, but bad weather prevented them from finishing. They also reordered some boards because they weren't happy with the quality. To avoid further delays, they took careful measurements & built the gates in their shop while waiting for the weather to clear. It has been several months since the fence was installed. The fence has gone through one winter with minimum shifting & warping. The gates still open & close easily & properly. We are satisfied with the quality of the workmanship & the price we paid.

Shortly after moving into a 6+ year old house, a neighbor strongly recommended we have the septic tank pumped - as the previous owners never did so. We contacted Don Green Sanitation at the neighbor's recommendation. We were very happy with the service they provided. The technician showed up when promised. The septic tank had to be located - we knew the general area, but not the exact location. The access was over a foot below the service, so that had to be dug up (at a cost of $45). The pumping of the tank was $225 - and very reasonable considering the amount of work that had to be done. Scott, the technician, was friendly and professional. He worked quickly, but thoroughly, with minimum disturbance to our lawn. As we had never had a septic system before, he also gave us some dos & don'ts, as well as advising us how often we should have our septic pumped based on our usage. We were very pleased with the response & service Don Green Sanitation provided, as well as the reasonable cost. We will definately call Don Green Sanitation for future maintenance or repair to our septic system & would definately recommend this company.

The blower for our hot water heater was running continuously. Because this was covered under our Home Owner Warranty, we did not have a choice on who did the repair. We were pleasantly surprised with the service from Preece. The technician arrived when scheduled & was able to quickly find the problem. A part had to be ordered & was overnighted & the repair completed when promised. We had one very minor problem with the billing - the invoice was sent to us, instead of the warranty company. One call to Peerce took care of that problem.

We contracted with Perennial for the annual lawn care service, which includes 5 treatments to control surface feeding insects, most broadleaf weeds, crab grass & annual summer weeds. The service technicians take the time to properly apply the products, rather than rushing through the job as fast as they can (a problem we have had with other lawn services). We always receive a service invoice which includes the treatment provided - as well as what the treatment is for & what to expect from the treatment. Detailed instructions & recommendations for lawn care are provided. You can pay per treatment, or prepay for the program & receive a 10% discount. There are also other optional treatments available, such as aeration, grub control, lime application. These services are pay as you go or the 10% discount is also available if ordered & prepaid with the annual program.

After moving into a 6+ year old house, we found one window had a cloudy substance between the glass panes. We tracked down the installer to B & L Wholesale. I called & explained the problem to a very polite & helpful sales rep. He explained where to find the information on the window size so a replacement could be ordered. Unfortunately, the tag had faded, so he carefully walked me through the exact areas to measure. Once the window was ready, I brought the old window in & picked up the replacement. I was very much surprised that I was not charged for the replacement window. We were the second owners of the house & had no idea how long the window was defective. We did not know if it was a manufacturer defect or something coaused by the previous owners, & fully expected to pay for the replacement. B & L stood behind a product it sold, even though the defective item was several years old. They were helpful, professional & a pleasure to deal with. The replacement was a perfect fit! I would not hesitate to purchase from this company for any future remodeling project.
