We had previously gone with a mom & pop pest control company who was not able to get rid of the normal household insects in our brand new home. Upon the advice of a friend, we contracted with Terminix for a year's service and have never regretted our decision, five years later! They are prompt with their time estimates -- if they give you a two hour window, they are always on time in the first fifteen minutes of the window. We can rely on their service; we've had no recurring problems, and issues have been resolved the very first visit every single time. Our year contract keeps the "normal" pests away, and we don't have a pay a dime for any problems arising between our regular sprays. Pesticides used are always assured to be safe for our pets and toddler as well.

My husband and I recently renovated the kitchen of our first home, and this extremely large purchase (second only to the purchase of our actual home) was an endeavor I was very excited to embark upon. Having both come from loyal Kenmore families, we didn't even shop around. I purchased our refrigerator instore, but found it easier to shop online for the rest since, at the time, our son was under one year of age. Customer service, at least during the initial ordering process, seemed helpful and expedited our orders -- which had to be placed separately due to non-availability of items and varying sales. However, upon completion of the project, I officially had two microwaves and two refrigerators attempted for delivery (we of course accepted only one of each) as well as an additional stove charged -- that's right, no delivery, simply the money taken off of our credit card. Rectifying both situations was a nightmare; customer service was terrible once they realized there was no money coming in. Had to pickup one of those microwaves (prior to the second product's delivery attempt) from the nearest store, and while they (again) were extremely helpful and customer-centric in that location, I had a nightmare of a time trying to get the online customer service folks to find the correct part number and send it properly to the store's associates. Upon our next renovation, we'll DEFINITELY order instore and stay FAR away from online sales. I speak so highly of the instore associates to my friends and family, and encourage them to boycott the online portion! It's too bad, the company has such high regard in my family, this experience was absolutely awful!

We've always been Home Depot shoppers, but have recently redone our kitchen and found the service at this particular store to be extremely high quality and professional. While trying to decide between a few different garbage disposals (for the sink), we were directed not to the most expensive (which was actually in our budget) but rather to a mid-priced model that was more geared towards our use and needs. It couldn't have been more right, quiet and efficient, and so much better than our old one!

Romera Lawncare is a PHENOMENAL lawncare company in Land O Lakes. He maintains a regular schedule, weekly during the "growing" season and biweekly during the dormant season. He is extremely quick, his equipment is updated and works great. Our backyard is locked, and where we've had problems with previous lawncare companies neglecting to relock upon completion of the job (which means chasing two dogs around the neighborhood when we don't notice), Romera Lawncare NEVER forgets. If our son leaves a toy in the backyard, it's picked up and placed in our screened patio (through the dog door) before mowing is started. Pricing is EXTREMELY reasonable, we've had countless of lesser quality services for much more monthly.

We got a beautiful new granite countertop installed on a Friday afternoon without knowing that that company doing the installing wasn't going to be replacing the plumbing fixtures or the crown molding (under our old countertops). I was too excited to have my new kitchen to wait for Monday, and Handyman Connection sent a contractor out the very next morning to give me an estimate. He returned later that afternoon to complete the crown molding, and even (no charge) fixed my daughter's closet door when he was done! Work was exceptional and quick, he was extremely clean, and my handyman's professionalism was of the utmost. Definitely recommended to anyone who needs a handyman!
