Home Helpers Co. was poor quality and poor service. I had them install a sunlight in my outdoor jacuzzi room. They did an awful job and were very rude about it. I would never, ever use them again. The only thing I can say is that it at least hasn't fallen on me yet. It does leak in heavy rain though! I guess I got what I paid for.

Doug's Handyman Service replaced an exterior door for me. I needed a sliding glass door replaced with a half french door and Doug's Handyman Service did it for me. They were speedy and good quality. The guy had it done super fast, I was shocked at how quickly he was done. But I watched as he did it and it was good quality. I'd use them again.

I few years ago a bad storm knocked down a tree in our side yard. It fell and broke a window and messed up the framing. I had Top-Notch Handyman come and replace the entire window and frame for me. Good quality, speedy service, I am happy with the work and would use them again.

I had to have my roof totally redone last year. I chose Katz Roofing & Siding Incorporated to do it. They were ok. I bought what should have been all of the materials they needed, but halfway through they needed more because of "screw ups." I'm not impressed by their work.

We had a bad storm come through a few years ago and blew 7 sheets of singles off. I had Spartan Roofing Company come out to replace them. I got new shingles and had the nail gun and flashing ready for them when they got there. They went up and put them on, it took them 10 minutes for two men to finish it. They wrote up the bill and charged for labor and "incidentals" which I asked about and they said it was for tool wear and materials. We argued and they said they'd go up and remove the shingles again if I didn't pay. So I paid their ridiculous bill and reported them to the BBB. I also called their office and got no resposne. Don't use them.

I needed a wheelchair ramp put in so I hired Augusta Home Builders LLC. They put the new front porch/deck over my old cement one since it was a good base. They built the ramp and it barely passed code, it came out too steep. That and the fact that it doesn't come up anywhere near flush to the front door, so it has a bump to get in the door. Other than that they were good quality. They need to check on codes a littl emore carefully, but otherwise it was ok. They weren't late and were very clean while working.

My cement side porch was falling apart, so I decided to scrap it and put in a full new one. I hired Ultimate Improvements Inc. to do it. They did everything, including supplying the materials, but they would not get rid of the old concrete from the porch and the part of the driveway that needed to be removed. That is what made me decide not to give them 5 out of 5.
