I am reminded, but now to write the review (of the work done by city carpet more than a year ago.), when I was to re-engage them for the second time. During their first visit, the carpet was to be installed on the steel stairs too and I am very happy to share that Jeet, the in-charge, insured that the work is done to perfection. For a year thereafter, I kept on complimenting through him, his technicians, who did that marvelous job ,in return when our friends kept on praising the fresh look of the stairs and hallway. This was all about my early experience. But now when I was to get the carpet and hard floor done at other unit, I have done my preliminary due diligence, as a habit and concluded that city carpet stays my best bet. This is not only of to their fair pricing and professionalism, but also because many others carpet installers don't tell you upfront that there is say, 3 weeks wait. ( When with many other carpet installers, you are at the verge of finalizing, you are stuck wondering why for a day's job work there is a month's queue. May be I am wrong, but probably that gives the competitors myopic pleasure that they are too much sought after.) Taking my review at face value by you, is a safe idea because this is the age of reviews and it is easier for the city carpet or for that matter any one of us, to do their work to perfection, as they did mine then to handle the after effects of a below average review. To sum up I would say Jeet of city carpets has the moat and edge as he advices as if the flooring is done in his own house, prices are better than other places and above all their technicians know their job and not the least, you need not to wait for more than 3 days, in this super jet age. I may add, that I was telling to the lady of other big carpet installer. Why you guys don't have a mechanism to recruit more people to do the job. (I even mentioned that during my CA training days, my employer would do the audit at the mid of night,if gets such an opportunity.) She had no answer.
