I just finished reconstructing my deck with the help of a friend who used build decks. The work was so good that the old furniture was ruining the effect. I didn't want to get some cheap furniture from a big retailer. I just happened to stop by Theas Antiques and looked around and found so much beautiful stuff that I seriously considered replacing our house with antiques. I called my wife and asked if I should buy the dinette set that they had for what I considered a reasonable price. She almost tore my ear off over the phone. Anyway I ended up spending all my patio budget on a colonial era chair for my study. My patio still has the old furniture that I still plan to replace but I am very pleased with my chair.

This shop is located in Newport Beach where I work. I told my wife about it when we were shopping around for a wedding gift. We didn't buy anything for her friend but did buy some stuff for our guest room. The service is very good and the people are friendly. The prices are very reasonable. We spent about an hour learning about the benefits of having higher thread counts in our sheets. I felt we were being given a sales pitch but could resist purchasing some of their products because the quality was just amazing. I went home and did some research on the internet and was relieved to find out that we really got a great price for our sheets. Very happy.

I went with my wife to this shop to buy a gift for one of her friend's wedding. I was tired because we had been driving around all day. We just happened to be parked near this shop and my wife went inside to check it out while I stayed in the car. After twenty minutes I went inside to find out that my wife had already selected something and was looking for things to get for herself. They had a great selection and the staff was knowledgeble about not only current brands but the older ones that my wife knew of. She wanted a Arthur Price Classic silverware set but we could not afford it. We left with the gift. I went back the next day without her and bought the set for our own wedding anniversary. She was very happy.

I needed an alarm system to protect my home because no one is home for the better part of the day. I called ADT for an estimate and they were able to give me a good price for a system and for the service. They finished the installation very quickly and was happy to find out that since you'll own the alarm system that's installed in house, you are not tied to one vendor. Any contract for monitoring service the previous owners had does not apply to you.

I wanted to upgrade my home theater for a Super Bowl party I had planned on throwing. I called up these guys to come and tell me how much upgrading my sound system would be. They came on the wrong day and they told me that I needed to repair my entire system. I agreed to the service. What angered me about this company is that they don't know a lot about energy efficiency. This is a company that has been around for years. To make along story short, they charged me a lot for their service and it was not good at all. I had to hire a friend to redo the work. Not recommended.

I had my movie screening room redesigned by an interior designer. I had some poster that had been rolled up for years and finally wanted to frame them for my room. I visited The Frame Store after reading about it in someone's blog. I didn't want to drive too far from my home but finally did one weekend. I was pleased to find that not only are their prices reasonable, they have extremely fast service. They were able to frame my poster on the spot. They even helped me carry my framed posters to my car. Very good service.

My wife had been bugging me for years to hire a designer for our home. I finally surprised her for valentine's day. I shopped around for the right designer. Most consultants we contacted not only were too pricey but knew less about interior design and style than my wife. We contacted Lisa LaPlaca Interior Design and we were happy to find out that they have a great sense of style. My wife threw a party and her friends were geniunely impressed.
